There aren't many places to eat in the area, but the Bulldog Diner was highly rated. We gave it a try. The food was good enough. Grilled cheese sandwiches were like you can make at home. The burger was ok. The chili chicken salad was good. The milkshakes were very good, though. The French fries were a combo of steak fries and potato chips. They tasted ok, but were very thin for French fries. After more than 2 hours on the road, this was a good meal and a break from the car. We were in the restaurant an hour, which seemed like slow service.

Mine andnmy husbands food was fantastic, so fantastic in fact I didnt get pics. But the French dip and his cheese burger were awsome and the clamp chowder was a Lil thick but once I put a Lil milk in it that my husband didn't use from his coffee it thinned it perfectly.. defently recommend

Driving through on our way to Portland and we couldn't wait till portland to eat. Glad we stopped. Food was fresh, flavorful and cooked well! We had a couple burgers and they were hardy with large portion sizes . We have stopped at quite a few places in small towns and they have always been okay. This place was exceptional and would definitely eat here again if the opportunity comes again.

Service was excellent, food was really good, nice remodel on all areas! A little pricey but good portions and they are in the middle of no where! Google maps try’ tries to tell you to go to exit 104-don’t! You’ll backtrack a full 5 miles! Just follow the freeway signs for the restaurant!

We had time to spare and wanted a real meal, not fast food. A quick search popped this up. The French dip hit the spot as did the Deluxe Club I had. My wife and mom both enjoyed the onion rings. The fries are like steak fries but half as thick which gave them an almost chip-like crunch while still being a french fry. Fast, attentive service, easy access to the highway, make this a great stop for a quick bite. I'm already looking forward to trying one of their burgers on my next visit.
