There aren't many places to eat in the area, but the Bulldog Diner was highly rated. We gave it a try. The food was good enough. Grilled cheese sandwiches were like you can make at home. The burger was ok. The chili chicken salad was good. The milkshakes were very good, though. The French fries were a combo of steak fries and potato chips. Mine andnmy husbands food was fantastic, so fantastic in fact I didnt get pics. But the French dip and his cheese burger were awsome and the clamp chowder was a Lil thick but once I put a Lil milk in it that my husband didn't use from his coffee it thinned it perfectly.. defently recommend
Driving through on our way to Portland and we couldn't wait till portland to eat. Glad we stopped. Food was fresh, flavorful and cooked well! We had a couple burgers and they were hardy with large portion sizes . We have stopped at quite a few places in small towns and they have always been okay. This place was exceptional and would definitely eat here again if the opportunity comes again.
