We stumbled upon this gem a few years back on a road trip and many times have made this a stop along the way. We've only had breakfast but the sausage is delicious. The service was always good and it's an enjoyable blast from the past.

What an amazing delicious find! I had a New York steak, baked potato, and ..yep…salad bar. Salad and condiments were cold and fresh. The potato was perfect with good toppings. The steak was top notch! Cooked perfectly. Juicy, tender. And our waitress was friendly and efficient. Amazing fair prices too! Hubby had a delicious burger. Stop in and enjoy. Who knew Rufus, Oregon had a great restaurant.

This little spot off the freeway is a hidden gem for steak!!! We went for breakfast and I was able to have a dinner!!! ??? Service was good, and the food was good. Baked potato you could tell wasn’t just made (but hey! It was before lunch!), and the salad bar had plenty, but a few things were not fresher, but I was able to make a decent salad. The BEST THING??? The STEAK was super flavorful and ONE OF THE BEST IVE HAD IN YEARS from a restaurant! We will definitely be going back next time we travel that way!

had a very good experience at Bob's Texas T-Bone Restaurant this morning for breakfast. I had the Chuck burger patty with eggs and hash browns. Kind of wished I would have had the smoked pork chops with sausage gravy and hash browns and eggs as it looked really good as well. The sausage Gravy excellent. The server was very cordial. The conversation was entertaining. Some folks behind me were talking about alternate universes.
We were hungry as we were heading home from our road trip, so decided to stop here for a steak dinner. It’s an older restaurant, kinda worn and not super clean (the plastic menu cover was sticky). There’s no signage to seat yourself, so we stood around awkwardly for a couple minutes until a waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress was friendly towards my husband but seemed annoyed every time she had to talk to me; not sure why. It was getting pretty late at night, so maybe she was tired. We both ordered the ribeye steak dinner with fries and side salads. I had the garlic toast while my husband had the dinner roll. The food was decent, but not fantastic. The side salad was iceberg lettuce drowned in ranch. The steak fries were the kind you get in a frozen bag at the supermarket and can heat up at home. The steak was decent, but not mouthwatering. I was expecting steak-house food, but this was diner food.

We visited the Maryhill Museum as a destination, on the way to Bend. There are two restaurants in town, and this one is worth a visit. The steaks are delicious, and the beer is $3.50, no matter whether it is Bud light or a craft beer. Unbelievable! The wait staff feels like your best friend's sister-in other words, wonderful, honest, and welcoming.

Well rounded menu. Pepper bacon was delicious. Food prep was good. Service was friendly and good ( contrary to other reviews). Menu choices were good with some fancy pancakes for the kids. No biscuits and gravy? We’d go back.
