We stopped on the spur of the moment because we saw an advertisement on the interstate. It’s a lovely place. They do not do flights, so my husband, daughter and I got different glasses so we could have a taste of different wines. We especially loved the rosé and pinot noir. If we didn’t have to fly home, we would have bought bottles to take with us.
We had an amazing time at Saginaw Vineyards. Kelly was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There is generous pours in the tasting, and the glasses and bottles are priced very reasonably. The grounds are beautiful with goats, horses, chickens and blueberry and grape orchards.
Absolutely beautiful venue and great service! The wine was delicious and the playful sheep and adorable Blue Heeler pup was fun to watch as he learned herding. We stayed the night through Harvest Host and it was such a great time. Anyone passing through I would highly recommend stopping to experience the charming Saginaw Vineyard.
