El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

It was 94° outside and the restaurant was absolutely freezing. Don’t dare go in there with any shorts on or dress or not wearing a coat because even short sleeves will be way too cold. 60° is just too cold

A small establishment with big flavors. If you want more than just tacos, this is the place to go.

Service was minimal however that is how I liked it. I already knew what I wanted, I ate alone and didn't need anything because the waitress thought of every detail and was very polite.

I won't get the ground beef with mole again. But the mole was so good I will go back, maybe with chicken next time. The chips were hot, and the beer was cold. Great dinner in my opinion. I will eat here again soon.

This place used to be really good. But as of today 6.14.25, the service was horrible I was able to drink my cocktail, glass of water, 3 refills of chips n salsa before I even received my food, and then lo and behold, I didn't even receive guacamole with my steak fajita. Tacos, who serves no guacamoy with tacos, instead, they gave me a dessert, which made absolutely no sense and did not complement the plate. I guess if you plan on eating here. Assume you're going to wait at least 45 minutes to receive your food.

Service people were unenthused, we both got the wrong order and when mentioned one dish was brought back to us haphazardly and soaked in grease.

Extremely long wait times to get your food. The food was terrible no flavor over cooked. Expensive for what you get ,dont go here if you want authentic mexican food its not even close.

I am very disappointed in my family's experience tonight at El tapatio, Saint Helen's. Made reservations for wife's b-day dinner early today for a 6:30 dinner. 7:37 pm and still waiting for my dinner. Halloween town isn't a good enough excuse. Plan better for days like these. And to top it off, there were several members of my family who became very uncomfortable later in the evening with gut issues. More than likely, we won't be going back.

El tapatio was extremely helpful. They, themselves delivered my food. I was super grateful that I went to them instead of door dash. I'll absolutely never go thru door dash again. Always support your local businesses (St.Helen's) trust me! They're a local business that supports local people ?. And the food is amazing ?
