If you’re in Portland, making the trip out to Sandy for Mount Hood Cheesesteaks is an absolute must. The Recession Burger is everything you want in a burger: juicy, packed with flavor, and made from beef that was literally butchered just two days ago. You can taste the difference in every bite. Some of the best food I’ve had from a food truck. Between my group, we had the classic chicken sandwich, deluxe burgers and Parmesan rosemary fries and they were all incredible. The prices were surprisingly lower than we were expecting too.
This is my FAVORITE place to get a Philly and fries. My husband and I like spicy Phillies and they nail it every single time. The fries are also delicious every single time! We drive almost an hour to come to this place on average once a month because it’s that good. The owners are amazingly sweet people as well.
