The food and service was SO good in the beginning. They actually prepared the food on site. But now, it’s all processed. They even built a wall where the kitchen is so we can’t see in there anymore. You know what that means. Things changed and they aren’t proud of it. The newer owner is a piece of work. We have heard him on several occasions talk so horribly bad about his servers and staff. He is just an arrogant individual who has no business being in customer service. We have seen him serve himself beer and just sit around and talk complete trash about everyone. The only reasons I returned is because I had friends who had scheduled “bdays or meet ups here”. Topping it off, he crashed and received a DUI in my front yard and took out my fence recently. He refused to give me his insurance info after multiple messages. He said he gave them MY information-which is not true. I called his insurance and they had no idea of any of my information. Shady guy.

Great food and atmosphere.

Ordered a 3 meat plate(all brisket). This seemed like a small portion and I would have preferred an actual slice or two of brisket to these cutting board scraps but I was sure it would still be delicious juicy brisket. Wow was this lukewarm garbage. I literally choked trying to chew this mixture of sun baked saddle leather and sawdust. This might have been the single worst brisket ever made. If a ten year old aspiring chef made this on his first attempt, I would urge him to stay in school. I sincerely hope this was cat meat because I now feel worse about brisket in general.

At 6:30 pm they were out of brisket. change of plans. ordered a beer (very good) and clubhouse sandwich on Texas Toast. like a lot of Texans (all hat no cows) the Clubhouse was all toast and little else. first layer: thick piece of Texas toast a tiny piece of overcooked bacon, mayo and tomato. insert another piece of Texas Toast followed by some mayo, a super thin piece of ham and a thin slice of cheese and guess what, another thick piece of Texas toast. Hence all toast and not much of anything else. Fries were very good. just never another Clubhouse Sandwich! service was very good.

We ordered the Red Shed burger, ribs, and pulled pork Mac and cheese. The burger was alright, the rib rub had a nice smokey flavor, and the Mac and cheese was extra cheesy. Everything we ordered was good but it didn't blow us away, except for the Blueberry Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce, THAT was delicious on just about anything. On a more positive note, their mixed drinks are strong and they have a wide selection of beer to choose from. The place can feel like a fun bar instead of a restaurant on Friday nights so consider getting your order to-go if you were looking for a silent sit-down meal.Nonetheless we'll definitely be back for those good drinks and to sample more of the menu.

I decided to try this place on my way home from the mountain today. My friend and I were warmly welcomed and we were sat emediatly. Our server was helpful and pointed out items that were gluten free. We sat on the patio which is spacious and comfortable. Great BBG, and lovely service. I'll be back!

We were the only ones there for a little bit. Good selection of draft beers and food. There's a pool table and a couple slot machines. I imagine this could be a happening place on a weekend evening. I preferred the quiet lunch.

Really enjoyed the vinegar based coleslaw! Ribs and brisket were good. Beer selection and service were fantastic! & big dog friendly patio is great too. We will definitely be back.

This is our second time here. Normally I hate leaving these type of reviews but I'm sorry it's not good. The food was cold when brought to us. I got a chicken quesadilla which was fine but the salsa was like ketchup..... very odd. The tiny plate my fiancé got was brisket and some pork. There was maybe 4 small pieces of brisket and maybe a half cup of pork. The plate of food was cold and corn bread didn't have much taste. It seems like the owners have no clue how to run a restaurant or BBQ business. We won't ever be back, not unless they gain new owners. Please take some time to review your customer reviews and take this into consideration to fix this. Feels more like a dive bar. Don't waste your time or money here.

everything here is way overpriced, there's very few things on the menu like 10 or less . last time I eat the brisket sandwich there it was so full of fat that I could not get one entire bite down without having to disect the fat out of it . DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU WANT TO PLAY POOL OR VIDEO POKER THIS PLACE IS DEFINITELY ONE TO AVOID

Just don't! They say they are bbq, but an epic fail. No prime rib, no ribs- supposedly they sold them all earlier in the day. Brisquit was super dry and small portions. Slow service, and they were not even busy. More worried about settling up for the live band and serving drinks then the quality of bbq. Do yourself a favor and eat at the food carts in sandy.

Worked here, trust me just don’t. I rarely ate anything here. Except the potatoe salad. Your risking and wasting your time coming here. Thank the owner, and if you ever stop by ask the servers how he treats them. It’s legit like a episode of a kitchen nightmare 24/7. The owner put hot grease in plastic bucket to clean it ? and insisted the whole time it was ok. Until… we all know I don’t have to say it. Don’t waste your time. Or your health. Go on down the road to any of the other great hometown spot. I’m sure you will catch a properly cooked meal anywhere else. By looking at the rating, Looks like they lost more than me Aka(The best cook they ever had).

What a disappointment. I ordered the loaded smoked potato with brisket. It was far from loaded, had fatty brisket and hard potato. My wife ordered fish and chips which we were certain was pulled out the freezer then microwaved. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese which came out cold and she tossed half the meat because it was fat.
