My husband and I randomly stopped here on our way home from the mountain, and we both thought this place all around nailed it. The service was great - everyone was extremely friendly from the person who seated us to the bar tender to the food runners. The tap list was diverse with a few of my all-time favorite beers, and I really appreciated that the bar tender was willing to do a half pour for my second beer. (Many places won't do this for reasons I don't understand.) And even though we had high expectations based on the many good reviews we read, the food exceeded our expectations. The toppings on the fish tacos had surprisingly complex flavors, the salad had nice greens that weren't over-dressed and perfectly cooked tri-tip, and the jalapeno cornbread was moist and full of flavor. We liked our meals so much that we ordered some tri-tip, cornbread, and chicken thighs to take home. We ate the chicken the next day and thought it was super moist with very tasty sauce. We will definitely make it a point to stop here on future trips to the mountain.

My husband and I went for our anniversary here tonight; we were seated right away, and greeted promptly by the hostess then our server, Jenny. She was amazing, and gave us the best service we have experienced in a long time. Perfect timing, she was available but never hovering, offered suggestions without being pushy, and was so nice. Refreshing, in this day and age! Sandbar , you have a gem here! Food was perfect, as always, hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

Always a great experience. Staff is Always attentive and friendly every time we've been there. Food is top notch, and a great variety on the menu to suit many different taste moods, from salads to straight up BBQ. There's also some nice unique items in the menu auch as appetizers (the fried cauliflower with the dry rub is to die for), sandwiches, burgers, and tacos.

Sandbar BBQ delivered a genuinely positive experience from start to finish. The service stood out immediately—the staff and hostess were upbeat, attentive, and made a point to apologize for the wait more than once, which was appreciated and set a welcoming tone. Once seated, everything moved smoothly.
The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes and a solid selection of BBQ options. The beer selection paired well with the menu and offered plenty of choice without being overwhelming. It had been a while since my last visit, and the expansion inside was a noticeable improvement—the space has clearly doubled in size and feels much more open.
Overall, it was a great experience. The combination of friendly service, good food, and a well-thought-out space made the visit well worth it.

Comfortable setting with a rustic casual feel with most customers appearance looking to be residents from the local area looking to stop in for a brief solid meal. Beers and cider on tap, several wine choices, both booth or table seating. When greeted we were asked to choose a seat and the hostess would follow with menus.
Service was fast and efficient. We were at home in this setting. Wife and I started our 5 year anniversary lunch here and enjoyed it from start to finish. Clean place with a modern look.
I had an AMAZING time at Sandbar!!! The food was great, the service was BETTER. CRYSTAL and LAUREN were AMAZING!! If it weren't for the two of them I would have had a far less enjoyable experience. They both are worth their weight in gold. Great spot. Great service. Great food. Period. The big smiles, the great attitude and the AMAZiNG drinks did not disappoint. A++ to those gals as well as the rest of the staff. You just dont find service like this anywhere but the sandbar.

We got seated quickly even with a full house. No wait. Our server was quick with the drinks and appetizer. Loved the fryed cauliflower btw very good. We had a wide spread from salad tri tip sandwich to a dinner plate of tri tip baked beans and coleslaw. A side of smoked chicken as well.
