Cute place. Very cozy. Aged cheese plates and pickled products. Less is better with the pickled stuff but all in all very good. Ambiance was nice.Parking: In front of the store is 3 spots of parking the you have to park on street sideKid-friendliness: Not for kids.

I cannot rave about this place enough, two things we will never skip when coming here is the mushroom toast & pickle plate -amazing. Between destiny’s passion and knowledge of food/wine and Brae’s master craft in the kitchen you will not be disappointed.

This was our second visit in about 4 months. The service each time was personable and fantastic and the food well curated and made with very fresh ingredients. For drinks there have been incredible suggestions from the owner and prices are very reasonable.

The food? Incredible. The service? Friendly and comfortable. The aesthetic? Unmatched! This was the perfect Sunday brunch for us before we hit the road to go back home. You must try their rhubarb mimosa - I’ve never had anything like it and I will now crave it for the rest of my days.

Inconsistent food if you go on an "off-day." Went for the chowder a second time and it was nothing like the first visit. The sandwiches were also very different. Seems like only one good crew on staff, and you have to make sure you visit at the same time they're on the clock.Kid-friendliness: No kids.

My man and I came for the ramen night on 2/29. The courses were amazing, definitely the best ramen meal we have ever had. We were still talking about the seaweed salad, broth, brownies, etc for days after. We were so inspired!! Plus the decor was cute and the drink selection was fun. We were visiting from out of town but will definitely look this place up again when we return to the area!

Special gem in Seaside. Wonderful ambiance, service and food - best ever cheese board, kale caesar and clam chowder. Will go back and back again!

We stopped here on our last day to taste their charcuterie board. I liked it for what it was! It even gave me ideas on how to improve the ones I make at home. But what REALLY sold me is their clam chowder bowl. was only about $10ish at the time and between the presentation, aroma, smell and taste, I have to say, having visited the chowder dock at Monterey California, they somehow topped all that - including the food network platinum award winning, (I THINK michelain star) restaurant where I had some on the side with shark steak! That's right - their chowder is worth visiting even if it's just for the novelty. Not only that, but the people at the desk were so nice. Did I mention they have salted chocolate chip cookies??Yeah, I hope this business cements itself and sticks around for a long time.

Chēz is a wonderful addition to the Seaside community ... and frankly the entire North Oregon Coast! The owner's attention to detail is unparalleled. The space itself is intimate and offers a few different types of comfortable seating options. The interior aesthetic is warm and welcoming with a vibe that's the perfect balance of playful and sophisticated. A fresh color palette of coral/salmon boasts artistic light fixtures, mirror balls, multiple hanging plants, and fresh flowers set the stage for a magnitude of culinary delights. The menu showcases homemade soups, fancy salads, and delicious hot/cold sandwiches that are all made to order using seasonal ingredients. There are enhancements for dinner and Sunday brunch including hot beignets that are literally to die for. As the name suggests there's also chēz (say cheese!) that can be enjoyed onsite as part of a beautifully assembled charcuterie board (my personal favorite) or purchased alongside a bottle of wine to take away. There's truly something for everyone. While the food is stellar I would be remiss not to mention the wine. The owner has been involved with the wine world for decades and her network is rich with industry friends who appreciate and admire her commitment to supporting small, local producers. The shelves here are packed tightly with bottles for every budget including gems from super tiny Oregon family-owned growers to prestigious bottles of French champagnes and a few rare unicorns. Locals and tourists alike can purchase tickets to attend monthly themed dinners and tasting events that rival the happenings in Portland and the Willamette Valley. I've been to Chēz half a dozen times and have truly enjoyed every single visit. In fact, it is now one of the key reasons I choose to return to Seaside in lieu of neighboring beach towns. Perhaps the best part about this charming Seaside cafe is that it simply meets customers where they are. From a date night destination to a happy hour rendezvous or a takeaway picnic to enjoy with your toes in the sand you can expect friendly service, high quality food, and an extraordinary selection of wine. Ohhh did I mention the award winning clam chowder? Mic drop.

We have fallen in love with Chez in Seaside. The owner is an amazing wealth of knowledge about the wine, food and products they carry. The chef is amazing - one of the most talented local chefs I have ever experienced. This woman owned business is a badass example of creativity, resilience and smarts. The wine is amazing, the food is amazing and you will be glad to make this place your home. Don't sleep on their monthly wine dinners, it is an epic experience!

While I do appreciate the small, SantaMonica-esque interior, $20 for a grilled cheese sandwich is just not worth it. If it were on the beach with a view of any sort, yes, possibly, however the location is nowhere near the beach, the food is extremely overrated and obviously overpriced. It looks like a tiny cafe in many parts of the world, however, the prices are ridiculously high. Expect to pay at minimum $35-40 per person for a basic sandwich and glass of a basic wine. It's not even the price, its just another " gouge " that seems unnecessary. I do not recommend it for this reason. Try Moe's or just about anywhere else. I wish them the best, just would like a somewhat commensurate price for the product and atmosphere being offered. That's all - pretty simple.

Family and I went to Seaside for the weekend and found this adorable wine bar for a late lunch. We have an almost 2 year old and weren’t sure if they allowed kids, but they did, thankfully. The service was amazing-they were welcoming and very friendly. We shared a small meat and cheese board, a Cubano sandwich and each had a glass of wine. All of which was very good. They ran out of ciabatta bread and instead served the sandwich with focaccia, which I think was a better choice. Before leaving, they offered our daughter a tester of what looked like a chocolate chip cookie with sea salt. My husband tried it and said it was amazing, so I will be going back later to get one after they’re done baking a fresh batch. All in all, it was a great experience and we’ll be back any time we visit Seaside. Highly recommend!!
