We missed out having a corn dog in Rockaway because they're not open on Monday or Tuesday, so we drove to Seaside for this legendary corn dog.
Holy schmoly, it was gross. Waaaaay too salty. I've never tasted a hot dog so effing salty. And the batter was pretty bland.
Someone else said Bar-S pre frozen corn dogs from the store are better and I'd have to agree.

Delicious and affordable corn dog! Great for an on-the-go bite! Gal that helped me was very nice. The corn dog took a little bit of time, but it was well worth the wait. It’s located in downtown and it’s a nice place to hang out while you wait anyways.

We came to get the Impossible Meat veggie corn dogs, they did not disappoint! So good! The owner told us he wasn’t sure how much longer they were going to carry them because they are hard to get - so better get ‘em while you can!

It is a simple place to get some fresh corn dogs fried on a mini conveyer belt. I liked the fact that it is fried to order. The hot dog itself could be a bit bigger, in my opinion. The batter is nice and tastes good when it's right out of the fryer.

Hands down the best place to eat in Seaside. I’ve come here as a regular even after moving out of state just for a pronto pup. Do not pass this up. Trust me it’s worth it. Staff are always SO kind and quick with orders.

Trash corn dogs, all filler no killer. Go down the street to Seaside Slushies and Dogs for actual good food. Bar-S corn dogs are 100% better than Puny Pups.

The dog inside was so small and I feel like I mostly ate cornbread! Overall it tasted good and fresh though. average for a corn dog. Wish there were more condiments like mayo. Ranch packets are an extra $1, whew. Lemonade slushy hit the spot on a hot day. ?

Local here and treated my husband and I to a Pronto Pup as otd been a while since we'd ventured downtown. Not as I remebered at all. Glad to see they've added more options but the classic pork mix dog was better. Guess this was our last Pronto pup.

This place looked pretty good from the outside, but the corn dog was not as it appeared. The hotdogs were fine, but the coating was very bready and not good. We ended up pulling most of the coating off and eating the hot dog by itself. I would not recommend it.

My wife has always had a soft spot for Pronto Pups. They got them every time they stopped in at Seaside while on vacation. She has always talked them up so it was time to give them a try.They are a hand dipped pork and beef hot dog, and after cooking for a little bit, they are golden brown. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they did not disappoint.
