Surprised it wasn’t way busier bc the food service and atmosphere were great. Got a smothered chimi and it hit the spot. Want to try more of their Guatemalan dishes next time!

I just bought 6 Guatemalan tamales... They were spot-on fabulous 😋!! Just like my abuela used to make wrapped in banana leaves and full of flavor 😋!!

We had dinner at Restaurante Ramos in Seaside last night—a Guatemalan & Mexican spot we discovered last year, and I’m so happy they’re still open! As a fellow Chapina, I felt so proud seeing this place representing and thriving. I ordered the pupusas mixtas (loaded with everything!) and they came with the most delicious sweet platanos. Andrew had the carne asada burrito, and my suegra got the flautas—everything was *so* good and the portions were huge!

The service? Amazing. Our drinks were always full, and we were welcomed with warm chips and two kinds of salsa—the green one was chef’s kiss. We all left with happy bellies and leftovers. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Visiting seaside decided to order online . Showed up at the time of pick up and they had no idea of the order. Waited for my Cuban torta I had order and when I got it. Meat was odd taste and. No cheese ?!?!? Totally not the 20 dollars . Couldn’t finish rhe food due to taste.

My wife had a Guatemalan dish and it as very good. I had a more traditional Mexican dish and it was also very good. The salsa Wes excellent. Not overly spicy but enough of a kick to make you sweat a little. Very good. Not salty and very flavorful

I ordered delivery from their their website. The order amounted to a little over $40. After 30 minutes, I got a text message that said that the order had been canceled. The text message told me to reach out to Restaurante Ramos directly for more information. I called the restaurant and was told that they had to shut down unexpectedly that evening and to contact Door Dash for a refund. This was the first that I learned that Door Dash was supposed to be doing the delivery. I called Door Dash and they told me that they had refunded the order to Restaurante Ramos and that I would have to get refunded by the restaurant. So once again, I called Restaurante Ramos and was told to call back after 5pm when the manager was there. I called after 5 and was told by the manager that they would refund my order. I waited several days and as of today (over a month later), I have still not had my money refunded. I have no idea how good or bad their food is, but this experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I would avoid ordering delivery from Restaurante Ramos and if my experience with them is any indication of their commitment to quality and service, I would avoid eating their in person as well.

We went on the weekend and the truth is that the food is terrible not to return!!! I ordered tamale and they gave me rice cubes that were reheated and hard, and the dry pupusas!! Oh and the price through the roof!! Sorry for my comment but I don't recommend the restaurant. 2 years ago we went, it was another very good topic but now I don't know what happened???

The decor has an authentic Mexican look. The options on the menu were mostly unavailable or out of stock. We were not served chips and salsa until after our order was taken due to them being out of salsa? Really the place was super dead. When our order came both my friends received their order but I had to sit without food while I patiently waited for my food I basically ate by myself. when I got my food it was burnt and not even like the image I ordered. Instead of thighs and breast I got 2 burnt chicken legs with cut cabbage and warm mayo to substitute for Cole slaw. My friends quesadilla was hard as a rock and so small for the price. Even though the waiter was kind there's no way I'm coming back the prices are high and honestly ? not good food.

Everytime my family and I come here we are never disappointed! Their food is authentic and great! I have not found an original plate of pepian since I was in Guatemala years ago. Their food is so amazing and their staff Mario and Lisa are great and friendly! This is my favorite restaurant! I wish we had one closer to where I live! I definitely will be back again and again!

Could be really great but they missed the mark. A lot of authentic Guatemalan items on the menu but they were out of a lot of things. Serving refried beans as a substitute for black beans with no warning is crazy on a dish where the black beans are staple.

We came here because we saw they had good sea food on their menu . We got the camarones cucaracha and the camarones zarandados and when they came the cucharacha ones were not at all like the ones on the menu. This was a 40$ dish and it was definitely not worth the price. They had like 8 shrimp on there . The zarandados were also pretty bland. I definitely do not recommend the sea food dishes from here for the prices. The service was great though they offered to remove it from our check.
