We stopped here twice while staying in Seaside! The gelato was delicious and I appreciate the vegan options. However we were a bit confused as there are separate labels for "dairy free" and "vegan" but when we asked about it we were told it meant the same thing. Took that to mean things labeled as dairy free were also vegan but could use some clarifying to others. It all tastes delicious though and the variety of flavors are incredible! The vegan yellow cake gelato tastes just like a cake batter ice cream I used to love ?

Staff was so friendly, and the location is great. The melone gelato tasted just like that circus peanut candy, my husband was so happy. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area!

This place is a MUST go if you're in the area. First things first, I LOVE a place that openly is aware of and lists allergens. We have a kid who has a super severe syndrome where she can't have any eggs and it always makes me nervous to go places, but Sea Star is SO upfront about what allergens are in the gelatos. They have a very clear system for listing it and are willing to answer questions too. Amazing!!!Now, secondly, the gelato is absolutely amazing!!!! It's so so so delicious. Their flavors rotate constantly throughout the day as they sell out and don't worry, they always will have ones that you want. The French toast one was one of my favorites, coconut was incredible, the Biscoff one was so delicious too!!! We loved all of them! My daughters loved the red velvet, the blueberry lavender too!Don't skip out on this place. There's other ice cream places but this gelato places blows them all away. Hands down the best gelato ever!

Aside from the small, comfortable feel and delectable, sugary confections, the staff is just top notch in an emergency!My wife recently fell while in line. Her knee collapsed and she knocked herself out on the ground, opening a gaping wound and bleeding all over the place.Understandably, my two young children immediately started freaking out, while I was tending to my wife, who is now having an active seizure on the ground.A fantastic gentleman behind the counter did not shy from the graphic scene and provided what aid he could, calling 911 and assisting me with my wife.Two young blondes behind the counter, despite having no reason to do so, gathered my kids and comforted them. They took care of my children when I was unable to.I extend my heartfelt and sincerest gratitude to this establishment. I intend on coming back soon!

We have been coming to Seaside for over 15 years and it is an absolute given that we come to this place to get the best gelato we’ve ever had. In busy tourist season it is pretty crowded but the line moves fast and they’re very generous with the samples. Aside from the fact that the quality of the gelato makes it worth whatever the wait may be. 10/10.

Great prices and even greater desserts!! First time enjoying this gem of a stop, in the heart of downtown Seaside! Quick and friendly staff service along with a beautiful beachy scene. Good amount of seating available indoors, view of downtown from the tables. Lots of options on the menu, including gluten free! Will definitely return for affordably delicious gelato next time!

I love this place. Every time I visit seaside, I have to come here. Their butterscotch sauce is amazing. I got an amazing banana split with three flavors this time. Scoops were large. It was almost too big to eat.
