The raspberry ice cream was top notch when I went down there on my trip!!!

Wow, the service here was terrible. We visited the store twice. The first time the shop was empty and the scoop girl seemed more interested in making eye contact with the young man that came out of the back room. The scoop girl made sure that we stood far away from the counter before she would take our order as if standing close to it was an issue. Before walking back I noticed a heavy buildup of ice in the ice cream freezer and no lids on the ice cream. This wasn’t a real problem since we were just browsing we decided to leave and come back later.We returned later in the day at 7:30. This time the same scoop girl was present. She was sitting next to, and looking at a monitor with same Boy from earlier. When we walked in she promptly stood up and asked us to stand away form the counter. This time I decided to give her an order and requested a waffle cone with raspberry ice cream. While The scoop girl stood at the cash register my partner asked if we should toss the credit card to the counter since the scoop girl didn’t want us near it. At this point the scoop girl said it was ok to approach the counter and pay.When I reached the counter I looked over and noticed the ice cream machine ingredient reservoir looked like it hadn’t been cleaned yet. So I asked her if it was dirty. She looked at it and then said that it was dirty. Then she asks me if I wanted her to clean it or get another one from the back before she prepared my order. While she took the reservoir away she also took a dirty drip pan with scum and old food floating on the film of water in it. When she returned from the back with a new ingredient mixer she didn’t bother to wash her hand before getting started with making my order.Uh, I didn’t realize that cleaning something that is obviously dirty was something that needed to be considered. Maybe the real reason the scoop girl didn’t want us to stand near the counter was because of the health risks hiding behind it.Needless to say, we didn’t get any ice cream from this place and suggest you consider the potential health risks this place presented us.

Didn't get a chance to get anything. She put a "be back in 5 minutes" sign after people just left her shop, then while we were clearing waiting flipped the open sign to close 25min early from the posted closed time. Poor customer service, misleading sign.

Delicious real fruit ice cream! The kids enjoyed watching how it was made. Cute interior.
DELICIOUS!! You won't want ice cream from anywhere else after this! You can stop into just about any place that serves ice cream and expect your generic, standard flavors; Skip that, and stop in here. Seaside Ice Cream is the only place that actually blends each individual order custom to you, incorporated with fresh, local fruit. So cool to watch! The soups are equally as delicious. Amazing staff, atmosphere, and quality!

This is a very different ice cream shop, they take a delicious vanilla ice cream then you choose fruit or other flavours and they blend it in a special machine, then put it in a cone they have just made. We had blackberry, it reminded me of blackberry pie. We all said it was the best ice cream we have had and with a 4 year old we try a lot. Don’t go here if you want fake flavours like bubblegum! We are going back tomorrow try some more.

Their ice cream is so good, and so fresh! I’ll definitely be back, and we highly recommend this place. The people there are so sweet and friendly. You cannot beat fresh fruit ice cream on a hot day.
