OMG, I'm still dreaming about the pork taco I had the other day. It was huge, and the pork was so tender with crispy ends from the grill that took it to the next level! Can't wait to go back for another one...or two...yum! The customer service was incredible as well, and I appreciated the recommendation!

Hands down some of the best most flavorful Mexican food and for me, by far, the best enchiladas. Food is fresh and simply delicious. They have a good vegetarian options as well and the veggie taco was massive so bring your appetite with you when visiting. You won't be disappointed.

What a gem of a place. Spicy Vegan Burrito and Veggie Nachos were excellent. Also some of the best salsa we've ever had. Got to sit outside in the sun while dining and prices were great, lots of bang for your buck. This will definitely be our number one place to go to in Seaside.

I have eaten here many times in the past and never really understood the 4.5 star rating until now. The locals only hours and cash only policy was always a turn off and I didn't want to write a mediocre review. While they are still closed every weekend and promptly at 5 PM weekdays, (3PM on Mondays) this casual fast service restaurant serves some of the best Mexican style food around. I ordered a smothered Chile Verde burrito (enchilada style) that was a loaf sized plate full of tender chunks of pork wrapped in a flour tortilla and slathered in a savory green sauce. No rice or bean filler here! All meat and tasty sauce! My plate was a true belly buster. The chips and fresh salsa (more like a Pico de guyo) side capped off our perfect lunch! Now accepting all credit cards and you order at the counter and they serve to your table. Three blocks from home, I will be back with an appetite!

This place is the real deal!! My family and I just moved here from Phoenix AZ where there are lots of authentic Mexican food restaurants. THE STAND is authentic and amazing! This is our new favorite takeout place in Seaside.

Wish that there was more flavor. The pork was dripping with just like water, I really was excited how much meat I had, unfortunately there was not any of the flavors that I was hoping for. I dont want to be critical but it was really bland.

Very friendly server. The little details in the decoration are adorable. Truthfully though, not the best Mexican food I've had. I had the combo bowl. I did like they had biodegradable containers. The Mexican rice was flavorful but dry. The carne asada was also very dry. The balance was the sour cream which I personally felt there was a tad too much of. So I wish the rice and meat were more tender and that the sour cream didn't feel like it was over compensating.

Absolutely delicious!We were driving through on a road trip and decided to get lunch in Seaside. We found The Stand by chance and we’re wonderfully surprised! The food is delicious and the portions are very LARGE.
