This was the best food we had in Seaside! The staff is really friendly, and the location is easy to find and convenient also.

My wife and I looked at lots of places and decided to try the Crabby Oyster for dinner and we were not disappointed. The clam chowder in the sourdough bowl was amazing and the crab and artichoke dip was delicious.

Found a hair in my food (it was dark brown and my hair is blonde) also had WAY too much oil in it.

They did make me a strawberry lemonade though which was nice.

Went in to grab lunch while visiting seaside. We got the oysters on the half shelf, 12 of them. We also got the cod fish and chips five piece. All of the food was very good and tasted very fresh. Service was good and it was a nice little restaurant on the corner. It seemed like many of the locals were eating here!

Parking: Parking in downtown seaside can be challenging during busy times. We found a street spot and there is a big public lot around the corner but it can also fill up during peak times.

Came here over the weekend with some friends. The clam chowder lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Fish and Chips were okay, but the batter was very greasy and slightly soggy. Didn't quite feel like I got my moneys worth, but overall was a decent meal.

The restaurant is small so expect to wait at least 30 min for a seat. The gentleman host was up front about waiting time and you'd lose your seat if you didn't wait inside. He fit perfect for the "Crabby" oyster theme. I really liked him!
He got us our water before the waitress had a chance. The waitress was smiling and wonderfully efficient. The sourdough bowl clam chowder was the best I've ever had. The chowder was thick, creamy and flavorful. Highly recommend it. If it's within an hour of closing, you'll likely only be offered take out only. Go early for delicious chowder!

When we arrived we were greeted by what we are presuming was the manager( based on the keys and trying to run every aspect of restaurant), immediately we felt unwelcome by him and told him we didn't mind waiting for a table.

Both of us work food and bev and understand being understaffed and how you can't seat everyone immediately.

We soon get sat and start watching and waiting for a server. She was kind and took care of us well despite having almost all the tables in the restaurant.

Food was good, I would definitely come back for the fish and chips. Some flaws but that's not on the server.

We soon were waiting on water refills as we watched the presumed manager takes waters from a table( people were sitting there but left) and pour the water back into the communal water jugs. Luckily we stoped our server before filling our glasses. She appeared as though this has happened before.

We were at the restaurant on 9/17/2024 around 2pm. Overall our server was great and busy. Very proud of how she handled herself. The presumed male manager on shift was poor. I'm shocked that he thought his behavior seemed appropriate and sanitary.

The food was delicious but a little expensive. I had the pan fried oysters and my wife had the fish and chips. We shared the clam chowder. The server was also friendly and helpful

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but when a place is this bad, I have to warn others to use their money elsewhere.
The coleslaw was absolutely disgusting; tasted old and bland and it completely ruined the shrimp tacos - which ALSO were sopping wet of oil. How can you go wrong with shrimp tacos?!

The icing on the cake were the oysters. So incredibly fishy and mushy. Hope we don’t get food poising! Don’t go here, promise you it’s not worth it. Bleh
