Great food and excellent customer service! I called before they opened. The staff was extremely accommodating. They made our to go order without hesitation! I was very impressed with their "yes mentality!"
We tried the fish tacos but didn't know they would have cream. They were still good, but maybe that on the side. I prefer mine more traditional with lime and salsa. The kids had burgers. Fries are separate and those were good. Overall a nice stop for a bite.
This place has much better fish and chips and clam chowder than a competitor down the block. Their clam chowder is thick and rich with lots of clams and small potato pieces and comes with a packet of crackers. The battered cod was not too thickly battered and comes with a good tartar sauce. There is a large beverage selection including beers and wine choices. It was a bit warm inside but they turned on the fans which helped. The french fries were a bit soggy, like the fryer oil was not quite hot enough, some people like them that way. We will definitely be back.
Dietary restrictions: The neither the fries or the chowder were not heavily salted. Salt was provided on the table if you needed more. Thankful for the less salt!
The food was nasty, the ranch was made out of miracle whip, the shrimp were soggy, the fish tacos fell apart.
Quick food service but it was difficult to enjoy a crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was made out if 5-6 small chicken tenders cut up. Right away, the chicken pieces with all fall out, and made it very difficult to eat. The chicken itself just tasted like basic dry chicken tenders.
I'm slightly prejudiced because I like my fish with more crispy & breading. That being said, the clams & chips were awesome. Their food was flavorful, and the service was outstanding. The cooks do an outstanding job. I'm looking forward in trying some of the other dishes.
Ordered the three pieces with fries and a clam chowder to go. The size is a bit small from what I’m use to. Fries where just from frozen pack. Not fresh cut. Clam chowder not home made. Taste from a pre made pack. My chowder was super thick almost like pudding. 20$ usd for that . 15$ and 5$ cup size
Fish and chips were great, as was the shrimp cocktail! Server was kind, polite and helpful. The clam chowder wasn't my favorite but it was nice to have something warm on a cold day! Restaurant was clean and provided quick service.
This place is delicious ! Wasn’t expecting much because it’s just like a walk up order kinda place small menu posted behind the register but it delivers. We ordered the regular burger and the chicken burger both had the perfect amount of condiments and they loaded it with pickles which are my favorite thing on a sandwich. The fish tacos were bomb as well . To top it all off the bowl of chowder was the best I’ve had in seaside. It was all pretty cheap as well every thing was like 37$
Halibut Fish & Chip is overpriced and we felt like we were in a fast food place. Small portions and cold fries. spent over $50 on two baskets and beer.

This was the best value for fish and chips you get in seaside! It was $10.95 and the fish was so meaty and with little breading like a lot of other places you could actually taste the fish. My husband loved his double cheeseburger. The lady working the counter was the best server we had our whole trip in seaside. She made sure we were taken care of so well and we really appreciated that. Great food and service we will definitely come back.
Not greeted on entry but helped immediately on approaching the counter. You order at the cash register, fill your own fountain beverages and food is brought to your table. Had 3 piece cod and chips, added a drink and side of coleslaw. Really enjoyed coleslaw, everyone makes it differently so you never know, this was tasty and not dry. Fish and chips were well cooked, straight forward, what you'd expect, not standout. Pieces were about the size of a stick of butter. Would go back.
Vegetarian options: No really much, salad with careful dressing selection, fries, pescatarians are fine.
Kid-friendliness: Great, easy, fast service
Parking: Pretty generous street parking and a few public lots
Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry, easy seating, unpowered doors
Dietary restrictions: Tough mix, carefully selected salads perhaps
Fries were good and the shrimp salad was okay that came with a small cheap plastic fork. If you dont give out silverware then at least give the customer a strong palstic fork, not something a child would use. Chowder tasted kind of weird and hamburger had some sauce on it with onions. Not your typical hamburger which my husband did not like at all. Will not be back.
We got fish and chips and Clam stripes. We asked for extra lemons and extra tater sauce and we're very please how much extra they gave us. 6 extra tater sauces and lots of lemons. Most places are stingy but very please that Tom's restaurant wasn't. There fries were soft which I loved but my husband loves the crunchy so he was a little disappointed that they weren't crunchy. The Clam stripes didn't have a Clam flavor to them they had more of a batter taste to them and we both noticed that. The Cod was good the batter for the cod just needed some more seasoning to it. It had a very bland flavor to it. And that's why I'm giving a 4 rating. But I still recommend this restaurant.
At first I thought we were picking a dive because it wasn't packed with people, I was so wrong. The food was brought out quickly, it was so good, and inexpensive. It's decorated well and the people are friendly. I'm so glad to find a place with good prices and good food. We recommend it 100%.
