I am a member and they are consistently gracious. The environment is incredibly beautiful with an indoor fireplace two of them actually beautiful outside environment as well.
The wine is okay. I definitely do not recommend the 5 course tasting menu. The corn soup came out cold with a solidified top layer due to sitting out for so long prior to serving. My partner asked for no meat and was served the pasta with mushrooms and no flavor. I tasted the dish and it tasted like butter noodles. My pasta had no mushrooms in it despite them being in the description. The main course had the most boring brussel sprout and mash potato side. The mashed potatoes were also cold. For an experience this costly you would expect at least warm food. The server never asked us how we were enjoying our meals which prevented us from sharing our experience. The wine served with the pairing was also lackluster. Very disappointing.
This was my first time wine tasting. Landed there by accident. Apparently one needs reservation. But, I don't recall the name of the person who served us. He welcomed us despite of not having the reservation. He was extremely warm, very professional and non judgemental that left us with a fantastic experience. He also helped us with some wineries around to go check.
The place had a sophisticated, classy ambiance, and the breathtaking views only added to the charm. Every detail, from the service to the setting, made my journey into wine a memorable one.
Thankyou!
We absolutely loved our experience at Alloro. The vineyard is top notch, with incredible wines, stunning views and the absolute best service. Martin made our visit so special, fun and memorable. He's the best! Alloro was our favorite vineyard among the three we visited during our time in Willamette Valley, and we'll be back!
Fantastic location and views.
However, we were very disappointed. Firstly we were asked if we'd like sparkling or still water. We said sparkling. Still water arrived. Bad start.
We ordered a bottle of wine.
A lovely Barbera. Which we then realised wasn't from the Alloro vineyard.
The staff member rudely poured a taster for me and then before I'd said yes he proceeded to pour a glass for me before my wife.
I asked for a brief history of the winery. I couldn't decide whether he didn't know a history or simply couldn't be bothered to tell us. He was very uninterested in life in general and looked like he didn't want to be there.
We maybe caught them on a bad day but there was only 8 other people there.
The vineyards, location and tasting rooms may be beautiful but our staff member was a bad ambassador for Alloro.
We won't be returning.
Good wine but not great wine. Service is good & worth a try if in the area.
The wine, the people, the food and the facility are all top notch! Easily one of my favorite wineries.
Overly pretentious, overly priced, and overly rated. I visited this estate 4 years ago, and it was great, but since then, the direction has gone downhill. It used to be friendly, fun, and decently priced, The view is sill great, but can’t say the same about the wine. It’s just not worth the price.
We had a lovely afternoon at Alloro! The wine
was amazing and very fruity. I loved the red Pinots even though I’d say I’m not a red wine drinker. I’m in the industry and they were very accommodating and friendly. A must go!
What a nice Willamette Valley winery that’s not too far out from the Portland area. Good variety of Italian inspired wines - they have a range of reds, whites, bubbles and dessert wines. Gorgeous tasting room. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious food too. The pranzo was very tasty - the sandwich was served on very yummy homemade focaccia bread.

Unpleasant person. No flexibility. To flee
Excellent tasting options. Very beautiful estate, and wonderful wines.
Maureen and Martin were great! Martin was very knowledgeable and the winery is beautiful.
Alloro was a lovely experience! The views are stunning and the food and wine and both delicious. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly too. I highly recommend the mushroom and cheese dip!
Fantastic new tasting room including views and fireplace for an already wonderful winery tucked up in the hills and farms, nearer to Portland and far from the crazy traffic crush in the Newberg and Dundee. Besides wonderful wines, they offer fabulous charcuteries! Big shout out to my last few servers: Jamie, Eric, Maureen and Martin!
