The food was delicious but the customer service from Susana was horrible. She was very rude and even yelled at our cook in front of us. She had very unprofessional behavior and made our experience less enjoyable. She also took at least 20 minutes to take our order. She did not smile one time and made a big deal about 3 people switching seats because the sun was hitting their eyes. We could not believe the lack of self awareness on her part and how she did not realize how rude she was being.
Our chef was very nice and made amazing food. We felt very bad that he has to deal with Susana’s bad attitude. We really appreciate him making our experience a little more enjoyable and hope that other people never have to deal with Susana’s awful service.

I went with a group of 7 for hibachi. Our hostess/server was a horribly rude woman named Susana. She sat us very grumpily and forced us to sit where she laid the menus, which we were fine with except half of us were blinded by the sun coming in through the window. She immediately asked us what we wanted to eat, we obviously needed more time, as we had never been there before, so we politely asked for more time.
She took over 20 minutes to come back to us, and when she did she was very short with us and very unpleasant. We were considering walking out, that's how long it took for her to come back!
On top of that, she took our order but kept assuming what we wanted and ultimately (spoiler alert) completely wrote it down wrong.
After she took our order those of us who were blinded by the window moved to the other side of the grill (three people, two orders).
She was so mad! She said "So you guys decided to move..." And made a large show about cleaning the spots off where we were sitting and rewriting our orders.
Our chef came out and was wonderful, exactly what you'd want from a Hibachi cook. He goes around and confirms with everyone what they ordered. When he gets to my husband and I, we realized that she had left out half our order on her list. We tried to reiterate our order to the chef, and he gathered what he thought we needed, but in the end we still didn't get our correct order.
So she eventually came back to the table and when our chef respectfully and quietly confronted her about writing the order down incorrectly, she yelled at him and lied to him, saying that the order was not in her handwriting and that it was his fault.
I've never been so appalled at a person's behavior in my life, especially when our chef (who has worked 14 years at Fuji's), was verbally attacked in front of his customers.
To end it all, groups larger than six have automatic 20% gratuity. We didn't have the ability to direct that to our lovely cook, it went to the not so lovely Susana.
I hope this review reaches management because that personality is completely toxic to include in your establishment.

HOMESPUN HIBACHI
This review is only for the hibachi dinner. I would’ve tried the sushi, but couldn’t fathom paying $9 for a handroll
We started with the veggie tempura appetizer and it is a very generous portion. The dipping sauce is delicious and seasoning on the perfectly crispy fry was also good.
Each of us got a hibachi combo and it was a HUGE amount of food. The dressing on the salad is tasty, but some of the lettuce was oxidized and past its prime. Everything grilled was incredibly under-seasoned and they did not get a proper sear on my scallops. Their homemade dipping sauces are delicious, but didn’t compensate for the bland rice.
Charging more for fried rice is super dumb.
The server was borderline rude to us and definitely not nice to the host. Grill chef was lovely and you could tell he wasn’t into the server’s inhospitabity.
We are very unlikely to return.
