I've been to the Keizer location before and always had exceptional service, so I decided to try the Sherwood location—and they did not disappoint! The service went above and beyond, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. I noticed some of the reviews online, and honestly, I think people need to go touch some grass, because this place is fantastic! I highly recommend them for their burgers or anything else on the menu. And by the way, their mozzarella sticks are to die for!

Typical chain eatery. Good options and variety. The wait staff were great, very attractive but not overly intrusive.

First visit, Sherwood location. Mom had a burger and fries and was pleased. I had the Avocado salad which was $12.95 on the little bites menu. One of the worst salads I have ever had. Limp lettuce, chicken breast tossed on top and not sliced like they show on their site Also, chicken tasted like it had been micro'ed not grilled . The salad was bland, not flavorful, my 10 yr old grandson would have done a much better job of preparing this salad. What was the employee thinking when they made this?? That I wouldn't notice? I should have sent it back. Won't be returning as I am very wary of ordering something and it not being prepared with attention to detail.

I'm not one to ever complain like the Karen's out there, however- being a firm believer that closed mouths don't get fed (pun intended) I feel like it was my duty to bring my experience to light.
First off, my bf & I walked in for our date night- was greeted by the host and asked where we would like to sit. I responded either side is fine, & then he pointed over another families table at an open booth across the bar and said he was gonna grab menus then meet us there- instead of asking us to follow him to a table... Which that's not the worrrrst thing, Most likely just the start of a domino effect, though.
2. My bf's soda was flat & they brought it out in a dirty tasting cup.
3. I ordered a blueberry lemondrop which came in one of their 'famous' ice glasses WITH the rest of the shot in the mini shaker. When our server poured the initial shot in the ice glass, he poured it very fast to the point it spilt on the table. Yet, he seemed to be in a hurry because instead of acknowledging the spillage,he quickly just said "here's your lemondrop" then walked away. Whenever I was pouring the rest into my glass, it kept spilling out the side due to the top not being on all the way or SOMETHING. With the amount of spilt alcohol on 9ur table, I expected someone to notice and ask if we needed napkins or offered to wipe it up, etc. But boy was I sure wrong! Atleast TWO employees walked by, looked at our table and not once ask to clean it up.
4. The busser/barback chick (petite blonde girl) brought us our appetizer, sat it down on top of the spill and asked if we needed anything else.. & that's when I FINALLY said "yeah there's alcohol all over the table, any chance you could bring a wet rag or something?" as to which she then brought back a couple of napkins for the spill but nothing to use for our finger food appetizer. Skip to our entrees: My bf ordered a bacon cheeseburger, I got a chicken sandwich with a side salad, & added a bowl of mac n cheese. Once we FINALLY received our plates (I got my salad at the same time) our server asked if we needed anything else, I said "Some silverware & more napkins plz" she said "of course" & never, & I mean NEVER came back. I waited, literally sat there waiting for someone to notice why I haven't been able to take a bite of my food yet nobody stopped by. Of course 15/20 min go by & I notice the young blonde girl flirting with one of the cooks in the back, still ignoring our table. I'm sorry, but this was just uncalled for behavior & no amount of decency nor courteousness involved.
5. I finally decided to take a bite of my sandwich and the chicken was nowhere close to being done. Was cold and rubbery. A different employee stopped by after about 30 min (idk if its because he noticed my food wasn't eaten or what) but I explained what was going on, he said he would make it right w/ our recept which he only took the mac n cheese off at first, until I stated I wasn't able to eat anything due to the sheer fact I had nothing TO use to eat it with; I wasn't going to use my hands like a heathen as well as the food wasn't cooked thoroughly🙁 I still spent $60 on our drinks, hubby's entree & our appetizer yet all in all it was a terrible experience in my opinion.

First time trying this chain, and it's okay.
Feels like a Red Robin copy cat that added a few extra menu items, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I got the teriyaki burger and the house chips. Food came out pretty fast. Teriyaki burger was decent, nothing wrong with it, just an overall blandness, the patty has very little flavor of its own.
The biggest disappointment was the house chips, most of them had a burnt flavor, or no flavor at all. Just crispy potato slices. Next time I'll try the fries or tots.
Overall, it's a perfectly typical chain restaurant for lunch or dinner, nothing really bad and nothing really amazing.

I'm one of the line cooks at this location,I have only been with the company for about 5 months mow and I can tell you there has been a huge difference since we got new management and some new staff..I have fun in the kitchen with my coworkers even when we are uber busy and/or short handed we still try or best to do our best and have fun doing it..I don't get to interact with guest really which for me personally kind of sucks because I love people and I love to make people happy..But every once in awhile I get to see the food I made go to the person/people who are going to eat it lol,to see someone smile or raise their eyebrows in deliciousness expression is the best part of my job..Y'all should come check us out if you haven't been before or if you are an old customer who hasn't been back in awhile,I think you just might catch yourself enjoying the new Sherwood Hops n Drops..

Great food, and great drinks. First time eating here and if I lived closer, I would definitely be eating here again. The huckleberry lemonade was fantastic. I got a cheeseburger and it was very good.

I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Hops N Drops—the food is great, and the drinks are fantastic every time. There’s such a huge variety of menu options, so you can always find something to satisfy your craving.
That said, the prices are a little on the higher side for bar food. If they were to come down just a bit, I’d definitely be a more frequent customer. Still, it’s a solid spot for a good meal and drinks when you’re in the mood to splurge a little.
