This is our favorite/go to sushi place in the Portland/metro area. The sushi is always fresh and the service is great! Thank you to these fine sushi chefs for such high quality tasty sushi!
Edit: not docking any stars—but hoping Komo changes their policy on reservations. Just tried to make a reservation for 6 people and was told they won’t take reservations for less than 7. I feel a bit frustrated being such a loyal person here and then unable to even make a reservation when my parents are in town. We can’t go early like we do with our kids due to a time commitment— but also can’t wait a long time at dinner hour either. I mentioned we were regulars and the gentleman on the phone didn’t budge. Just not the way to maintain long term loyalty imho.. Hope to edit this out in the future :)

Been here a couple times the service prior was good today. It was not felt one of the waitresses was kind of rude and wasn’t attentive thank God she wasn’t my server. My server was OK could’ve been better with customer service I felt rushed! But food always been good so far !

Absolutely horrible! Hours say 9pm. Show up at 8:40pm and they say they close at 9pm. I said great, table for 2…They say..well, we close at 9pm…so, we can’t serve you!! What?! If your site says close at 9pm and your sign says 9pm, 8:40 isn’t 9pm! Horrible service!! I’ve rarely been to a restaurant where if you show 29 minutes before close…they say they’re closing and refuse to serve!! I’ve eaten here before and the sushi is average at best anyway but, still horrible service and if seated, for sub-par food anyway. Don’t one of the other two Sushi options in Sherwood. Both better!!

The waitress with the short hair is amazing. Suggested some great sake and appetizers. One of the rolls I ordered was not good and I left it on my plate. A different person checked us out and asked how everything was. I was honest about the one roll being not great, thats why I hadn't eaten it. My partner also tried it and had the same reaction. We aren't picky eaters. Nothing was done about it.
It speaks volumes to your business when you genuinely care about the quality of your food, customer satisfaction and strive to make things right. This was not shown to be the case when I brought up this roll. Our order was over $100 and we will not be back because of this.

This was a really good sushi place. The quality was great. The waitress was super kind and the manager lady was super sweet as well. It was a quiet nice place. We enjoyed it and the presentation was great too.
If i could, you would get a zero. A one is generous.
Took one entire hour to give us our appetizer, 30 minutes for the meal, and during that time multiple others were served and online orders were made. We watched our last order getting made after the wait and it sat on the counter for 10 minutes before being delivered to us because of the waiter packing other orders.
Please work better to improve this, many other customers have felt the same way. Thank you.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch here on a Saturday. Food was excellent, server was fantastic and nice. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. My new favorite non-revolving Sushi place.
