If i could, you would get a zero. A one is generous.

Took one entire hour to give us our appetizer, 30 minutes for the meal, and during that time multiple others were served and online orders were made. We watched our last order getting made after the wait and it sat on the counter for 10 minutes before being delivered to us because of the waiter packing other orders.

Please work better to improve this, many other customers have felt the same way. Thank you.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch here on a Saturday. Food was excellent, server was fantastic and nice. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. My new favorite non-revolving Sushi place.

One of the worst service! The server and the kitchen staff forgot about the order and literally made us wait half n hour! And we had to just leave without food! Never going back to this place again!

We tried this after finding our regular sushi place had closed down. What wonderful surprise. We found our new favorite!

We had lunch and it was fresh, tasty and good quantities of food. Don’t hate me for saying this, but there needs to be a kids option for food, nothing crazy but just a small menu or options for smaller portions. I understand not every restaurant HAS TO but it would have been nice.

We came to your awesome restaurant two weeks before at around 8:20 on a Friday and we had a wonderful time trying real wasabi. I was disappointed today to stop by and be told I could not be seated (take out only), at 8:25 in a Friday. Website says last seating 30 min before closed. I will have a hard time coming back again in the evening as the staff seem to change the policy and a whim. If we were told when we entered that they were short on staff we would understand dampener on my evening.

KOMO Sushi: A Birthday Celebration to Remember!

I recently celebrated my 65th birthday at KOMO Sushi, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, thanks to my wonderful wife, Mary, who chose this fantastic spot. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.

The sushi and sashimi at KOMO are truly exceptional. Each piece is crafted with precision and care, showcasing the freshest ingredients and vibrant flavors. The quality of the fish was outstanding, and every bite melted in my mouth. It’s clear that the chefs take great pride in their craft, and it shows in the presentation and taste of each dish.

To start our meal, we indulged in two appetizers that I cannot recommend highly enough: the Monkey Balls and the Monkey Brain. The Monkey Balls were a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside and filled with a savory mixture that was bursting with flavor. They were a perfect way to kick off our meal. The Monkey Brain, on the other hand, was a unique and delicious dish that combined rich flavors and textures, leaving us wanting more. Both appetizers set the tone for the incredible meal that followed.

As we savored our sushi and sashimi, we couldn’t help but appreciate the attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.

In conclusion, KOMO Sushi is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality sushi and a memorable dining experience. My birthday celebration was made all the more special by the fantastic food and warm atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their incredible menu!

Thank you, Mary, for such a wonderful birthday treat!

Whoever said this place had the best sushi they "ever had in their life", count your days!!! ??? (this is a joke btw ?)

I feel bad to leave a bad review because our server was so kind but the overall experience and food was SO disappointing. The itamae (sushi chefs) presence behind the counter was sad. They didn't greet us when we sat down, they only acknowledged once they haded our sushi over and when we left.

Agedashi tofu - 0/5 gross. This was tempura tofu not agedashi.
Sushi - 1/5 edible. The taste and quality of the fish was not great, especially for what we paid.

I recommend SHO Japanese near Tigard or Murata in Portland

We've been to Komo several times in the past few years and we're never disappointed. They have very fresh fish and refreshing flavors. The Sugar Daddy is one of my favorites with that little lemon on top. I also love the Hama Hama. If you like veggie tempura, try it here! They have lotus root in the tempura which I don't see often. Presentation is very thoughtful here and service is top notch.

They were patient when looking over the menue, the food was fantastic. I don't really like sushi and got the shoyou, and it was the best noodles I've ever had. I tried my gfs sushi and, to my surprise, actually liked it. Me and gf agree that this is our new favorite restaurant.
