Manzanillo Mexican Restaurant

The food was pretty standard Mexican food. Larger servings, lots of rice and beans, not a lot of meat. I got the steak fajitas and they were good but came with a lot of onion, very little bell pepper and some meat. The service was friendly and good. However, it was odd that no one seemed to be there during a normal dinner time. Perhaps lunch is busier. I don’t know. The outside of the building is very nice and newly painted. The inside is also nice, however the seating is well worn. Overall, it’s a reasonably good place for a quick bite of Mexican food.

The food was good, above the average for the typical Mexican restaurant, but we arrived at 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday with a party of 14 people. The staff adjusted to our wave of customers, but it tested their limits. A better experience would be during a work day/evening with a consistent customer flow.

Parking: Manzanillo is located in the parking lott of Sherwood Ice Arena and has it's own parking area surrounding the restaurant.

Great lunch specials and very generous portions. Friendly service. Full bar.

This is our favorite lunch spot! The food is fast, inexpensive, and yummy. My recommendation is the chili relleno. But my daughter loves the enchiladas, and my husband goes with burritos most of the time.

Great food and friendly accommodating staff. We ate 3 different vegetarian entrees and they cheerfully prepared mine vegan with no dairy products.

Disappointing dinner experience. Four dinners and several out of the bunch were poor, flavorless. Service was rushed and infrequent. Only three customers/tables there.

Service was excellent, food was OK. Comfortable and quiet and made for a convenient stop for dinner.

The food was very good and our waitress " Jessica" kept a great smile on during our entire visit, I totally recommend this establishment for a great experience!!!!!

The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. I try to try something new every time and have not been disappointed. One of our favorite "family dinner night out" places.

Went to this place for the 2nd time cause the first time was great this time was not, we ordered to go and had a couple drinks waiting and chips and salsa, we asked for more chips and they said it would be extra $2.50. We also had to keep asking for things, sat in the bar and no one was there except us

Huge portions for the price only reason I gave two stars. The beans tasted horrible. The waitress was very rude. The food tasted like it was microwaved

They gave me a drink with LIVE ANTS in it and I wish I saw them before drinking. Yes it looks like they are on the rim that’s because they crawled out of the cup. I honestly think this place should be shut down. I can’t even eat my food because I lost my appetite. *UPDATE* my girlfriend found some in her food. (At least they didn’t make us pay)

Our server was a bit on the grungy side, ordered 2 Cadillac margaritas, very weak, not worth the $11.85/ ea. We shared the combination fajitas, steak and chicken, VERY BLAND, no one checked to see if we were doing ok, my husband asked for some habanero sauce, they didn't have any, the server brought him Tapita Chipotle......all in all, a horrible experience. Will not be going back again.
