Most amazing staff and ownership, if you've not been the Mason, you should be, I miss it when I can't get there and I'm happy as hell when I can.Lawson took amazing care of us along with the rest of the staff and cannot wait to go back for my next meal.

This is the second time we've eaten here. Our first time was excellent. Service and food. Tonight, very disappointed. Service, our waitress was not attentive. I ordered the halibut special. Couldn't eat it. Too dry. Very disappointed in the evening. Probably won't return.

Absolutely worth it! Mason's was introduced to me by my good friends Matt and Jenny. The owners shop at their pet stores. I first went their for an employee holiday party and then twice with my fiancé. I will tell you to make reservations as seating is limited and they tend to be busy. The place is beautiful though even though it is small. It's cozy and nice. They have specials as well as their normal menu. Nothing has ever disappointed us while we are there. If you need gluten free they have that as well! The oil they give you to dip your bread is AMAZING. Drinks are great there with a wide selection of liquor. Service is great most times. We went once and I think they were short staffed is all. Other then that it has been great every time!

I must say, I hate giving a one star but this was bad on many levels. I have almost 700 reviews so I know a few things. They portray to be a high end italian "ristorante" but nothing shows it. I've had much better meals at Olive Garden which pains me to say. We had a last minute reservation (place was empty inside maybe 6 tables occupied). We were greeted nicely by host / owner and seated. About 10 minutes in our waitress (hispanic girl) was joking with my wife in spanish which was welcoming. Then she came back out and kept pressuring us to order "because the kitchen closed at 8:00PM". It was only 7:10PM. That set me off a little as we want to enjoy our wine (bottle) and socialize about our week. Our glasses were empty and no one came back to check on us. I filled them myself. Rookie move on nice restaurants thay always should keep your drinks full! So you buy more! We ordered the soup de jur, which was white bean w/ kale to get the waitress off of our back. The soup took 15 minutes to get from the host. Then the waitress came out and asked if we got our soup yet, Yes, we already ate it and it had already been picked up from someone else! Pork chop special was inedible, looked bad, bad flavor, lack of seasoning, and way over cooked. I was expecting nice grill marks but there were none as they have no grill. I was actually worrried about getting sick from eating it it smelled that bad. I gave iot back to them. It was terrible. I should have tried the bolognese w/ pasta or lasagna. My wife's pasta was said to me homemade but looked like dried spinach pasta. The chicken was good so she was kind of happy. Overall bad review from service to food. They seem like they want to be a Big Boy Italian place with a fancy name and setting but at the end of the day, it wasn't good. They seemed more interested in closing than anything else. Some servers were in t-shirts and camouflage pants and some never came back to check on us, just a disaster. We'll never be back. Go to Clancys around the corner for real food.

My husband and I and our two adult sons, went to dinner at Mason‘s on a Thursday evening at 5:30. Three of us had the special shrimp and scallops pasta and the other had a chicken pasta dish. They were all delicious my husband and I also had French onion soup as a starter it was fantastic. We loved our cocktails. We each got a different one to start, I also had one at the end of Rebecca‘s nudge which I loved, and my son had tiramisu for dessert and shared it with all of us and it was delicious all in all a fantastic meal and we love going to Mason whenever we get a chance, and are grateful for having Mason in Sherwood and everyone go there when they have a chance.

A wonderful little Italian treat right in the heart of old town Sherwood! Fantastic place for a date night or any celebration. Intimate upscale yet comfortable environment with approx 15 tables. This being the case I would highly recommend (esp on weekends) making reservations. The staff were very attentive and responsive recommending a tasty wine to pair nicely with our dinner. We had the charcuterie et fromage, chicken parm, and bolognese with Caesar and house blue cheese salads. All of the pasta is made fresh each morning and they have fresh made gluten free options as well. The blue cheese dressing is also fresh made and was excellent! The food, drinks, and sevice were all top notch and definitely our favorite meal of 2024!Dietary restrictions: Full selection of gluten free and vegetarian optionsParking: Free street parking right in front of restaurant

Recently visited with dinner reservations and the place was poppin! Almost every table occupied. The atmosphere felt lively but not overwhelming, and cozy but not sleepy. I had their shrimp pasta which was rich and creamy served pipping hot (my preference). The cesar salad was nothing special. We were served complementary bread and olive oil and felt like we were eating the entire experience! We were one of the last to leave and at the end we were gifted a free carrot cake since they felt bad we were served last, we didn't even notice! Cute spot.Dietary restrictions: Not vegan friendly, I think there was one vegetarian pasta option.
