Tasty Teriyaki

After googling multiple East Asia restaurants to dine at the winner was Tasty Teriyaki!

When walking in I immediately felt a warm homey vibe!

I was greeted and ordered within seconds upon walking in.

Today I ordered:
(Appetizer)
Spring Rolls
Fried vegetable spring rolls with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
Four come in the order and they are cooked to perfection, flakey yet the perfect crunch!

(Main Dish)
Tofu Teriyaki
Stir-fried tofu in teriyaki sauce with two scoops of rice and salad!
The portion size is definitely worth every penny!
The tofu was cooked to perfection as well as the rice and cabbage blend.

My pallet was shocked at how each entree complimented the other.

The service was amazing as well as the food!

It was exceptionally clean as well as a peaceful and homie place to eat!

When I come back through the area I will for sure be stopping in to have another meal here!

They don't deliver. Communication is spotty with the language barrier. Would think more English would be known on other side of counter. Otherwise, food was very good.
I didn't see anyone else in the dining room. I hope my order of $45.00 helps in some way keep the doors open. Try this place.

I love their teriyaki. I work too close because I’ll probably get food here once or twice a week. More if I could honestly. I live near Washington Square and will sometimes send my husband down here to pick us up food. It’s that good.

Loved the staff, the food and great prices! The only note I have is that the veggies tasted like fish but the chicken and rice was good. I would def come back here and figure the veggies is a one off thing

The ladies working were very nice. The food not so nice ?
I got a salad with my meal and the dressing it came with was gross. It tasted like old oily mayonnaise and I wish I knew before I poured it all over...
I had a combination of pork and beef, the pork was good but the beef tasted sweet and bitter almost inedible.
The teriyaki sauce also tasted bad, like burnt soy sauce..
It was my first time trying it and honestly my LAST!
I basically bought me and my wife each a meal and still ended up cooking dinner at home ?

I’ve been in love with this family restaurant for years. Everything here is so good, you can’t order wrong. The sweet and sour chicken is perfectly fried! Kalbi ribs and Teriyaki 10/10. ?

I cannot recommend this place enough, I absolutely love it; hands down the best teriyaki in Sherwood. Been a repeat customer for at least 8 years and I always try to stop by whenever I’m in town.

Down below is the beef Teriyaki, tasted better then it looks, portions on the small side for the price, salad was a joke. The other dish was the Teriyaki bowl, that was pretty decent on price and tasted pretty good. Had plenty of sauce already on the chicken, was tender too.

Hidden gem in Sherwood. I absolutely love Teriyaki and it’s my go to when I don’t cook and I didn’t even know this place existed. Owners looked like an older married couple and they were nice. I didn’t eat my food hot unfortunately cause I went to work but it was still great! I will be back.Oh yeah super cheap for the bowl! Like wow
