Everything was great...we did chicken and steak dinners,which was done perfectly for our taste. Dinners consisted of salad, pan of fresh rolls, cowboy beans and bake potato with the entrees,with pink lemonade, too full for dessert.

Rustic, fun just as all other reviews. Friendly staff. I love the mustard dressing, definitely purchased some to take home. The only reason I have one less star was the beans We're undercooked, 30-45 more min they would have been perfect. Saw a barn cat in the parking lot super cute, 🤣. Bathroom was clean. Would recommend and would revisit.

2nd to none! First time here. This place has it all! Food, scenery, service, location….absolutely perfect!! Had the steak (30oz), beans, sweet rolls, salad and all the trimmings, so delicious & worth the drive!!!!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for years and the anticipation did not disappoint! Dani was our server and she was an absolute blast and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We took Dani’s advice and recommend mixing both dressings in the salad - so good! The corn chowder was incredible, and the steaks were cooked perfectly with the best fresh seasoning. We both liked the potato fixings and the desert short cake is so worth it! Make sure to stop by the cute gift shop too and bring a cooler to pack your leftovers and buy some great beef to go from the freezer case. We can’t wait to go back!

Not the kind of place you can just find anywhere! Would recommend to everyone and lots of things to do along the way if your traveling or passing by. If you enjoy good times and nice people then you should give it a try.

I would have to say the best steak I have had in years. The chicken was also very good. Homemade bread as well as salad dressing. It was an amazing meal. You can't go wrong with this meal!

Great place , best one in Oregon for steak dinner for two and a cabin . I remember back in the day when there was no electricity and our crew always went there after riding quads at the dunes in Christmas valley . The little cabin is great and meeting city people from other states is always fun . I hope Jamie and his wife build a second location in another little town far away . It's getting harder to reserve dinner and cabin. best steak in oregon still in 2025 . Best dinning experiance also .. the view and atmosphere is still amazing . i still run into people that havnt heard of this place .. there is new cabins now along with the originals . get your reservations in and dont ever flake out . you cant miss this experiance and get a cabin to make it even better .

The food was incredible (and so much of it!). From the soup and salad to the giant steak and whole chicken — everything was homemade and delicious. We were stuffed and happy!
The staff were super welcoming, and the whole evening just felt relaxed and fun — like a big family dinner.
We had the best time and made some great memories. If you’re looking for something special and out of the ordinary, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!
