I searched online for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a patio downstairs. The waitress was very polite and patient in introducing the restaurant's special dishes, including several. Her hospitality was not excessive. She also made me a special cocktail. I will be back soon

Feels dirty,bad service, unfriendly and spent $21 with tip included for a bowl of mushy rice, rubbery salty chicken and a few pieces of broccoli that were good but cold on the inside. I left feeling like it was the most expensive and unsatisfying teriyaki (regular sized bowl definitely NOT worth the $17. $5 warm corona in a not too clean glass. Interior needs a deep cleaning. I left feeling ripped off.

This place is an amazing hidden gem, located in Downtown Silverton! With an absolutely stunning view of the river.
Sushi is super fresh. Rice is well seasoned. Appetizers come out hot and fresh!
This sushi boat combo that my friend got was $33. Thats a STEAL for some delicious bites!
They serve alcohol as well.
Overall if I could give this restaurant a 6th star, I would!
Give them a shot whenever you're in town!

we were a group of 10 and we showed up with less than an hour to close and they very graciously took us in and fed us so well. literally every dish my friends and i tried was amazing. no joke, one of thee best meals of my life and reasonably priced too. the service and atmosphere were perfect. highly recommend stopping by and supporting Akatsuki. thank you for the hospitality and feeding a desperate groups of travelers in their time of need<3

I went in with my friend and our kids, and from the moment we walked in, the waitress made it clear we were an inconvenience. She barely acted like she didn’t want to wait on us. Then, my infant son accidentally spilled the hot miso soup everywhere and started screaming. We were obviously sorry about the spill, but instead of offering any help or concern, she completely ignored the situation. My friend had to get up and get her attention to ask for assistance. When she finally came over, she seemed really annoyed, as if we had purposely caused a problem. It’s one thing to be busy, but the restaurant was practically empty—she was just clearly bothered that we were there with kids. Absolutely unacceptable service.
