Just one of the worst Chinese dinners we've ever had. 4 guests, 9 or 10 entrees/soups. Horrid on every level. Nothing was even just okay.Zero flavor. Over fried everything. Soggy fried rice with literally nothing in it. Same with"won ton"soup. Dead.The lights.. Those 100watt bright white LEDs, like eating in an operating room.Prices? Cheap, but, gawd.The worst. Avoid.

The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely return. I would recommend that you ask them to heat up the BBQ pork though. But that's just a me thing.Wheelchair accessibility: It's not easily wheelchair accessible. The double doors are pretty heavy.
The food was awful, the chicken was so tough, you couldn't even cut it with a knife. We ordered reg. size combos, we received "mini size", good thing the food was horrible, didn't feel so bad throwing it away!

We tried to like this place but after our most recent experience we'll never go back there again. Ordered two entrees, fried shrimp, and BBQ. Every other Chinese place gives us at least a medium sized steamed rice. Not this place. We got the smallest container they make. On top of that the BBQ pork was ice cold and barely even cooked fully. We're going to the Chinese place in Mt. Angel from now on there food is much better, and cheaper too.

I've been going to Chan's for many years and have never found a better place for American Chinese food anywhere in the U.S. Their barbecue pork is especially great, simply the best I've ever had. The owners are extremely friendly and great hosts. This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Silverton.

Should have read reviews before going.. it was disgusting .. sesame chicken had no sauce and when I asked why there was no sauce they said to use the little red sauce container witch is the spicy sauce for bbq pork . Waste of 24 bucks threw it in the trash. The rice was not fried and it was over cooked and soggy and had a brown look to it like they cooked it in soy sauce to give it appearance of it being fried.. the egg roll had jelly in it not fresh. Not sure how they are even in business

I feel abashed that I have not reviewed Chan's sooner. We have been going to this restaurant for over 26 years.The food has evolved during that time become much better over the last 10 years. Food used to be a bit on the greasy side but is now much much better.Recently had sesame chicken and it was light and crunchy and very flavorful! Their BBQ pork is very good as well has a nice crunchy texture on the outside and is served warm. The hot mustard is super great but is hot so please be warned.Wife ordered chicken and broccoli was great as well. Not slimy and the vegetables were done perfectly.Take out is fast but be patient with the folks as often times English is a second language and we can tend to talk to fast.Dine in is always great and service is awesome. This is what one expects from 2nd generation owners/operators.Thank you folks for feeding the family for over 20 years!!!
