My boyfriend and I went to High water grill to enjoy the music. We got our drinks at the bar and sat outside to enjoy the music and it was very nice. We were hoping one of the waiters will come to our table so we can order more drinks and get our food. They were walking back and forth infront of us but didn't bother to check on us. The lady waiter went to check on the table next to us didn't even come to us. I waved my hands and used my voice to get her attention but she just ignored me and I knew she saw me. We were hoping to enjoy the evening and enjoy the music they provided. We were very disappointed. I know I am probably the only one here who had the bad experienced tonight, but I hope waiters should come and check all tables. If you waiter doesn't want to serve some particular person, please let them know so they are not waiting to get your service.

I want to start by saying that I respect the restaurant industry and understand that things can get hecticâespecially during weekend hours. That said, I wanted to share my experience in the hopes itâs taken as constructive feedback.
I brought my niece and her partner, who are visiting from Georgia, to this spot after a beautiful day at Silver Falls. We were hungry and looking forward to relaxing with some drinks and food. We initially sat at the 21+ section, but had to move since one of us forgot their ID. Totally understandable.
Before heading downstairs, the employee asked to see my nieceâs ID. Since sheâs from out of state, they also asked to see her debit/credit card to verify her name. While I get the caution, it did feel a bit unusualâespecially since we hadnât ordered yet. It made me wonder what wouldâve happened if she only had cash.
Downstairs, we were greeted by a new server who seemed⊠off. Not necessarily rude, but distant, as if they didnât want to be there or didnât really want to engage with us. We ordered drinks and foodâdrinks were great! But food took about 30â35 minutes, which we understood.
What was odd was the service flow. Our server came back to ask if we were ready for the bill⊠but we hadnât gotten our food yet. Eventually, another employee brought our plates and asked if we needed anything else. We asked for forks, but they never came back.
When I asked someone again, our original server casually mentioned that utensils were still being washedâno reassurance or clear follow-up. It just felt like, âOh well.â My niece ended up asking for plastic utensils, and instead we were handed wet metal forks. We dried them ourselves and ate.
The server didnât check on us again until the very end, and by that point, we just wanted the check and to go. The food itself was really goodâbut overall, the atmosphere just didnât feel warm or welcoming.
I truly hope this feedback helps. The place has potential, and Iâd love to give it another try someday, but this visit left us with mixed feelings.

Cute spot! Itâs a little confusing though when you enter, and no one really talks to you unless you stop them, so we werenât sure where to order or how. We finally were able to flag someone down and ask, and they brushed us off and told us to just sit somewhere. Once we sat down, it also took a while to have someone talk to us, but the waitress who was taking our order was very helpful and so sweet! She was also very great about fixing part of the order that had been missed so that was great! Overall ambience and area is so fun! Love the outdoor seating and how pretty the view was. My sandwich was also AMAZING! Loved it.

Worst dining experience of my life. I was there with my family for almost a hour after ordering waiting for the food. The wait staff was horrible. I watched my waiter constantly touch money and touch people's food. I watched the cooks wipe their faces and pick up their phones while cooking and no washing their hands. We left and will never go back

Had lunch here today, the food came out stone cold. The waiter was not good. The drinks are served in plastic cups.
Stellar food, expectations were exceeded. We originally were going to go somewhere else, but they didn't allow dogs. HWG allows dogs on the patio, so it all worked out great.
I got the brisket tacos and brisket poppers and really enjoyed both. The tacos had alot of brisket and I left very satisfied. The poppers were not deep fried, which was a nice surprise. They were stuffed with brisket and had a drizzled sauce. Really great.

Love this place for a great motorcycle ride destination. Sit outside and enjoy the sun. That's where the good stops. Service was horrendous. Sat is took an order brought us a drink. Small ice tea might last 3 drinks. Never came back until food was done. Walked up once to get a refill and no one would make eye contact I turned and went back to the table. Food showed up 36 minutes after ordering and the NEW corn dog was cold and Fry's not done. To hungry to s ND it back and afraid it might get tossed on the floor. Over all this was my 3rd attempt and cool place food had potential, but the service OMG. Young lady with black hair yeah I agree you shouldn't work Sundays as your attitude sucks.
