Service was very very slow and frankly the host gave us a strong impression that without a reservation we were really not overly welcome (even though the restaurant wasn't over half full during most of our painfully long visit).

Haughty nasty owner. Ignored, had to beg fo water. Terribly understaffed. Good food but a bummer. Expect an hour or more! 25 minutes for someone to even come to the table.

I absolutely loved this wonderful tea room. The decor was so beautiful and reminded us of Paris. The hostess was so sweet and helpful and the food was amazing!! I have been to tea houses before, but this one was so much better.

I love to go to high tea and have done so in Victoria, England, Ireland, Seattle and San Francisco. Magnolia's high tea is just as good. The scones are perfect and the jam, lemon curd and clotted cream perfect. The tea sandwiches were all delicious, as were the sweets. Had a nice variety of each. The Afternoon Tea (high tea) starts with a delightful sorbet and a very nice soup. There was also a great selection of teas and the owner was more than helpful when we selecting which one we would have - even for my coffee-drinker husband! Overall, this is an excellent place to experience the tradition of high tea. She also offers smaller combinations of sweets and savories so everyone could get what they wanted. Can't wait to return!!

We had such an amazing experience at the Magnolia Tea Room. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere quiet and relaxing, and the tea perfect. The owner was very knowledgeable and attentive; we really enjoyed talking to her about tea and tea rooms. We can't wait to come back for tea on our next vacation to this part of Oregon!

Absolutely wonderful menu that changes monthly, great service, and delightful atmosphere. I took my brother there for is first tea ever to celebrate his 60th birthday. He enjoyed every bit and cannot wait to go back again. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend The Magnolia Tea Room!
