We found The Rustic Melt today, and we are glad we did. I ordered the Mac and bacon loaded, and when I say it was the cheesiesiest, flavorful and most wonderful grilled cheese I've ever had, I mean it. The cheese stretch was awesome to see. My girlfriend had the turkey pear brie, and it was on the other side of the spectrum. Lighter and refreshing, but just as delicious. I will definitely have this place book marked for whenever we visit again.

I Don’t know what’s going on in that little food truck kitchen but I know what came out and it was perfection! The Mac n cheese was smooth and creamy, rich and cheesy with the perfect flavor, mild but not bold, gooey not stringy, some of the best I’ve had. Also had the cheddar apple bacon sandwich which was also a taste bud pleaser, the dijon sealed the deal. Happy also that it made for 2 meals so I got to eat it twice. This meal gave me comfort that I didn’t even know I needed!

?Good god… just stopped through Silverton to get lunch on my way south, and I ordered the mac and bacon sandwich with the kale slaw. Every single ingredient was high quality from the deliciously thick noodles, to the perfectly tossed light dressing in the slaw. I don’t know if it was the nice gentleman that processed my transaction, but whomever owns this place knows how to create incredible comfort food that hits all the marks for quality, flavor, construction and contentment. 10/10 I can’t wait until I’m in Silverton and hungry again so I can try more of the menu. It doesn’t get better than this for under $20.
