Restaurant is old and had cobwebs everywhere. Food was very good. There was a little bit of a wait because it was busy but I don’t mind waiting. Food was a bit pricey. I will be back.

This Thai spot was close to our rural area home and it was above average. This restaurant is worth another visit.

Absolutely delicious, my wife and kids loved it as well. We did the appetizer sampler, dungeonous crab fried rice, beef fried rice, and a chicken appetizer. I would highly recommend that you bring a belt you can loosen after you eat because portions are large, or line you pockets with ziplock bags so you can bring the extra home with you.
We were immediately sat down and given waters and menus and food came in a very reasonable amount of time and exceeded our expectations.

As a local I’ve been coming here twice a month for almost a decade now. Today the Drunken Noodle was the best that I’ve ever had! Overall generous portions, tasty dishes and friendly staff. Be advised. The dining room hasn’t had a makeover since 1990 and due to small staffing the wait times can be long during peak hours. Don’t be deterred Give Sandee Thai a try!

They prepared our online order fast, which was appreciated, and the food came out super hot. The waitress was friendly.
The Tom Kah soup was really good, but the sweet and sour as well as the fried rice had hardly any chicken in it - like 3-4 small pieces. The flavor was unfortunately only okay for us, but I would try other items or reorder the soup if we are ever in the area again.

Ordered chicken teriyaki and it was the worst I've ever had. Exceedingly sweet and heavy sauce. When I told the hostess about how bad it was she argued with me and refused to take it of my bill. Left hungry and mad. Will never go back despite the spring rolls being decent.

I got some chicken teriyaki and the entire togo order was soaked in teriyaki sauce. Like my chicken and rice were a bowl of cereal and the teriyaki sauce was the milk. Usually really good. But this was bad. And it was more than 1 order of the dish

We had a good time joking with waitress about vegan. They can make most of their dishes vegan. Great brown rice.

I ordered papaya salad (mild spicy) and satay chicken. Both were delicious. Staff was friendly.

After driving a full day to Silverton, OR, in June we were tired and hungry. Based on positive reviews, we decided to eat at Sandees Thai restaurant. From the moment we walked in the older woman must us with a very bad attitude. She looked annoyed and said they were very busy and we would have to wait for a table. We were then seated after a short wait. No pleasantries from the staff whatsoever. The older woman appeared to be stressed out and acted like we were an inconvenience. We were very polite to her. Reluctantly, we stayed and ordered dinner. Pad Thai and beef salad. The older woman complained it would take too long to make the beef salad and told us to make another choice. We said no problem, no hurry and again politely requested the beef salad. She did not look very pleased. We should have walked out. But we were tired and hungry. The beef salad was great. The Pad Thai noodles were way too sweet and there was very little of anything else except for the four pieces of shrimp and some bean sprouts. The attitude was horrible by both the older woman and her employee. The food was okay. If you want to be made to feel like you are a bother, then go ahead and eat there. We will never return!

Excellent food. Portions were generous. Vegetarian options. They even made us lettuce wraps with tofu instead of chicken and they were delicious!
I ordered the Pad Prik Khing with chicken, my friend got fried rice, and we split an order of fried shrimp. Very delicious. Fresh, hot, and tasty food. The wait staff was polite and attentive, very welcoming. Would return here anytime I'm in Silverton for a meal.

Must experience this restaurant! The flavors on every dish we had were incredible. The Tom Yum Drunken Noodles was the best Asian soup we have ever had! The avocado curry was delicious and so fresh. We also had a dish with mango in it that was so enjoyable. We stumbled upon this place in downtown Silverton and at lunch time it wasn’t crowded. We thought maybe it wasn’t going to be good. The meal blew our minds. The waitress was very friendly and helped us order food on the less spicy side for me. We ate until we were full and still brought home leftovers for another meal for the two of us. If you like Thai food you need to give Sandee’s a try. You’ll be so happy you did.
