Unfortunately, this place closed over a year ago- We were sad to discover this after the great reviews and driving to Silverton to try it out. Haven't been able to find out if the opened elsewhere.

Absolutely incredible bread!!!

I grew up in Europe and tasted the best breads Europe had to offer. Let me tell you that what Dan bakes at Silver Falls Bread Company surpasses them all. Highest quality ingredients combined with the skill of a master baker and you will end up with a bread that is to die for. No exaggeration here. Healthy, most flavorful and fresh. Do yourself a favor and go buy a loaf of country sourdough, pain rustique, a baguette etc. You will not regret it, I guarantee it!!

Dan, the baker is super nice and bakes the best whole wheat sourdough bread Ive had since Germany. The Need for seed, (pictured) and the sourdough are my two favorites abd thwy are moist on the inside and crunchy chewy on the outside.

Havent had bread this good since I left New Jersey 42 years ago.( I really missed our bakeries! )We now drive out from Salem to get it.Thanks Dan! I guess Jersey had to come out here.

Greatest tastiest bread in the universe to infinity and beyond. Bread nirvana! I keep buying and sharing and all my friends agree - THE BEST!

I live in Salem, but stopped by the bakery as I was passing by. I decided on a baguette still warm from the oven. It was delicious and an amazing crust. Very friendly and helpful people. I'll be back!

Wonderful bread. Soft moist crumb with a slightly chewy crust. Well worth a detour if in the area.

IT’S SO GOOD

Just the most amazing and delicious bread -- and so close to home! I was really fortunate this past summer to be able to purchase a "bread share" from Dan's so that every CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) day I picked up a wonderful loaf of bread along with my veggies from the farm. I love all the varieties, but be sure to try the rye!

I haven't been to the bakery but I buy their bread at west Salem Roth's and OMG! The best sourdough whole wheat bread I have had since Germany. Growing up on Graubrot a go too bread in Germany, this bread is the closest thing since "home" bread! Crunchy crust outside sour moist bread inside; perfect with sweet cream butter and strawberry jam or belegte brot; cold cuts and cheese. Knead for seed bread and baguettes are also amazing. I just bought the cranberry pecan to try. I wish this bakery was closer to Southern Oregon. Well worth the drive. This bread is amazing!

Have this for breakfast with cold cereal and a banana . Now your set until late afternoon.
