The food & drinks were so so good. Waiters & waitresses were friendly and helpful.

Seemed the atmosphere was dated but Spence was a great waiter, and took good care of our dining needs. Food was good, but a little pricey. Overall experience was relaxing and we had a nice dinner. Oh, the apptz are delicious.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience. Spencer was very polite and understanding of our change to our order. The pasta we ordered was delicious!

Went to Lunch at Garden View for my Son's BDay! 1st customers! We knew what we wanted. As soon. As waiter brings water, we order. 30 mins pass by. NO food! We're the ONLY people in there! I had to hunt down the waiter! We finally get our meals and my son's Bacon Cheeseburger is a Hockey pick! He ordered a medium burger! What a disappointment! We'll Never Go Back! Don't Bother and save your money!

Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience. Probably the worst dinner experience I have had. We were seated right when dining room opened but seated at a very dirty booth with a disgusting window with fingerprints, smears and coloring all over the window. We have a toddler so yes we understand that things get dirty but clean these areas before seating someone and the dining room was just opened so should have been cleaned and ready for the dinner crowd. It took an hr from being sat to receive our food and I don’t have to explain how difficult that is with a toddler. I certainly assumed reservations would have meant this would not be a 2 hr dinner experience. We had to go ask to get our own boxes to box up our food and stop our server to cash out because we needed to get going. They kept saying they’re so busy but they were behind before opening. The food was subpar and not worth the price. Not a “resort” I will be returning to.

Truly a below subpar experience. We were seated immediately with reservations once the dining room opened. However, our table was dirty and the window was disgusting with a ton of handprints, food smears, and coloring all over it. Not sure why the dining room had been closed for hours and not cleaned. The wait to get our food after being seated was well over an hour until we got food in front of us. We constantly had to wait for drink refills, the Prime Rib special came overcooked to the point I thought it was a completely different order (took another 15 min to try and get this resolved), and ended up having to get our own to-go boxes. The bread served prior to the meal was the most dry, old tasting store bought type bread. We came for Mother’s Day and were considering returning for our anniversary to stay but we will not be returning to the “resort.”
We recently stayed at the Oregon Garden Resort for the nearby Tulip Festival. The buffet breakfast (served at the restaurant) that came with our booking was nice. Sausage, eggs, yogurt, fruit, muffins, coffee, juice.... Plenty to eat.
So we decided to eat at the restaurant on our second night. Honestly I wish we had not. Service was friendly but poor and they were not that busy. Often not checking in on us until it was too late to report anything. The shrimp and scallop fettuccine was very bland and the shrimp were over cooked, rubbery. The scallops were a good quality but tasted like nothing. The fully loaded baked potato my wife ordered was not warm enough to melt the enormous scoop of butter placed inside. It was a cold lump of butter.
We over heard the group at the table behind us complain as well. They got up and left without eating anything.
So I would recommend the resort, which is very nice and comfortable but I would say steer of the restaurant until they make some serious changes.

We were looking to have a romantic dinner date on our anniversary but instead we experienced poor food with at least a 50 minute wait for our food.
The appetizer of stuffed ravioli came cool, hard and over cooked. Later, our meals arrived (salmon and steak), also cool and sub standard. The salmon was tasty, but honestly we were so tired of waiting by the time our food came it was not enjoyable.
I don’t very often write reviews but this was worth sharing as we were so disappointed.

Maybe the worst service we have ever had. After waiting for an hour (after ordering)!the server told us it was going to be ‘a while’. When the appetizer finally arrived, it was overcooked and dried out. Just miserable.
When the server came back with an update we were assured it would be on the table in four minutes.
After one hour and thirty minutes the meal arrived, accompanied by cold vegetables.
Never again.

Wheelchair accessibility: Poor.
The main floor of the restaurant is down a set of stairs. There are booths without a garden view available for those unable to do stairs

Wow just absolutely disappointed in food quality very bland they don’t know how to season food I guess. The service was very slow on a slow night almost an hour to receive our order. $96 for two adult entrees and two child’s entrees is a bit high however locally sourced food I know is more costly so it’s understandable, but than to totally ruin it by not seasoning it is completely uncalled for. Then when they charge my account $193.28 for a $96 bill not including a $17.28 tip just totally crazy. Then whenever I tried calling it goes to voicemail because they are to busy to talk and resolve the issue. In addition to all this they don’t offer a vegetarian entree option other than a zucchini noodle something.

The food was very good. The service was as poor as any I have ever received. The servers were friendly but were so disorganized. This is a management problem and an ownership problem. This issue was not only at our table but all tables that were in my viewing area. The servers were frustrated as recognized the issues. Management did not seem to be present.

Expected so much more. I attended this restaurant with my prom date. The environment was very cold and.. dead? You’d expect way more from such a beautiful place. But that’s fine, one thing, but not responsible for a total 1 star. The problem was the food. Man was it so bad. We ordered the fried shrimp? Or prawns? As we both loveeeeee them. They came cold and so bland in seafood flavor, but incredibly greasey. We didn’t finish it amongst two people, it made my stomach hurt. Secondly, my father has visited this place twice and has given it low ratings from both of his experiences. Cold, overpriced food that somehow manages to butcher it one way or another. Overcooked patty, grease ridden meats, and overall bland in quality. Come on guys!

We were offered the special. Not on the menu. It was halibut fish with a baked potatoes and veggies. I was asked what I wanted on the potatoe. I said just what it comes with. The fish had a heavy sweet basalmic vinegar drizzles on it. I tried to scrap it off. It was absolutely awful. I only tasted a small bite. The potatoes was loaded. I didn't touch anything on The plate other than, The tiny corner of fish. I sent it back. The waiter took the plate, reached across me taking my Silverware too. After removing the plate on the table taking it to what I assumed was the kitchen. He then returned and asked if I wanted to take it home. I said absolutely not. When we received the bill, I was charged half price for the meal along with the upcharged for the potatoes toppings that I didn't ask for. I have NEVER been treated so rudely. It was the most expensive tiny bite of fish I have ever had.
It's a great place to spend time and money locally. Must see the vastness for oneself. Excellent for family, including dogs. You may dine on the patio with your canine. Nice patio as well. Check out the photos. Be sure to take photos and post for all to see. Thanks, Cory, for great service. There are steps to the patio. I did not see a ramp for wheelchairs. To be fair, I didn't walk outside to the patio. The photo is from the booth we sat at. There is live music Fri/Sat. Nights. Also can book a room and not have to drive. Enjoy. (The sandwich is BBQ tri tip with a cup of homemade bacon potato soup.(choice of side) $16 for the special that day.
