Appetizer of curry mussels were quite good. As for the main course, my wife's pork shank was tasty, but my ribeye was less desirable. The ribeye had good flavor but was excruciatingly small and tough for the price point. Ambience and service was great and you can't beat the view.

Gorgeous views of a chain of mountains and volcanoes in the Cascades. Good food, friendly wait staff with just the right balance of attention and distance. We had a 4.5 year old for dinner and they were great with him. It's the only high end option in Black Butte and they could charge more for both food and wine, but the prices are fair.

This was our first time to this beautiful new restaurant in Black Butte Ranch. The new restaurant and views are incredibly beautiful and the restaurant has a wonderful ambience. However, the food that we ordered was very bland over peppered and had no taste. I had to send my salmon chowder back I could not eat it. If we had a choice to go back to this restaurant the next time we're in Black Butte we probably wouldn't go.
We went to dinner this week. The bread was stale. The salad was gross. The service was ok. The prices were too high for the value we received. I was embarrassed we took friends there. Won't go again.

I wish I could give it more than 3 stars, but I’ve eaten there twice and have had several entrees and sides, and on the whole I’d say the food is just average. Good, but not blowing any minds.

Lovely evening celebrating my daughter Aminas 22 birthday! Our server Haley was so sweet and attentive making our dining experience feel celebratory. The food was delicious and the ambiance was warm and the view from our window table absolutely stunning. BBR is our happy place and the newly renovated lodge is a welcome addition Thank you so much for your care ??

The view, the comfort, the service, the noise level, the food is all top notch. After ordering the chicken and mashed potatoes 5 times in a row, I switched to the steelhead with citrus caper cream sauce. Now, I'm craving that!
Overall another good night at BB. Mary was an attentive server . TY is aces at the bar ? Pork Belly appetizer was different from last time. We prefer last time. The ham chowder soup was superb. The pork shank with polenta was great the broth in that bowl excellent. The sweet potato pasta a 3 of 5 The Steak a good choice. Bread pudding a hit. TY

This is a great place to enjoy delicious food, amazing views, and some of the best service and atmosphere around. If it were closer to Portland, I'd dine there often. Can't wait to go back on our next trip to Central Oregon. Don't miss it if you're in the area.

The new lodge is a real improvement. With an updated menu & excellent service staff, it's a great place for dinner. Often need a reservation but well worth planning ahead.

Food was not good. Server was short circuiting, leaving him unable to complete any task fully. Reservation was at 7:30, received our initial drink order at 8:15. Some of our mussels were raw, some were dead. We pointed it out to our server but he didn't do anything about it. Pasta was so dry and came with some weird bread not as described. Pork belly was good, desserts were pretty good too. Everything else was chaotic and confusing.

The new Black Butte Lodge restaurant is a worthy venue. Greeting and service was warm and efficient. Prices are on the lower end of the last five fine dining teastaurants weve been to in Central Oregon. Appetizers and salad were creative and wonderful. Steak and Pork Shank were really good. Cooked right, pork a little under seasoned. A nice view of the lake. A really pleasant Valentine experience. We will be back.

We were seated immediately which was nice but then we sat ignored for about 15 minutes. My salad had slimy bits of lettuce but the entree was tasty as well as the desert. The staff was pleasant and did take care of the salad issue.
