Price point was quite high for quality of the bowl. Good flavor on the protein, but not much else to the meal. Rice and beans made for kind of an overall mushy dish and for $17 portion and quality was not overly impressive.
The food was very good, though the rice was overcooked. The flavors were good. The portion size was okay for the bowl, not a great value for the price though. The service was great; very friendly, and the pager system worked great!
I'm from Texas and did not expect to find such good Mexican food up here in OR! Carmelita's was a great success for dinner for me and my son. The carnitas summer bowl was fantastic! Try all the salsas! Loved it!
