Fika is one of my favorite places in town. I was lucky enough to meet Renee before she opened and she's been a light in Sisters ever since. The drinks are delicious and they offer alternative milk options, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere feels like a local pub but with lots of art and plants and sunshine (gorgeous mountain views included). It's also an inclusive alternative to Sisters Coffee, which I won't step foot in as a queer person. The only thing I don't like is that when they started making vegan food, people complained, and now they don't do it anymore. The only vegan item is a pastry that is too sweet to eat often (still yummy thought). However, it doesn't change my view of the people or place. Fika will always hold a special place in my heart.

By the time we got there there wasn't a whole lot left. (2:30)But it was quiet and cozy. Little nooks to sit and read or talk.

They were really nice and the space is good. Drip coffee was over extracted and watered down and tasted like coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

Vibrant space with lots of light, local artists work on the walls and beautiful, healthy plants galore! Cozy couches and/or separate work environments to suit your needs. Music on the last Saturday of the month, great food and beverage and wonderful staff.Dietary restrictions: I got the chicken salad served with greens and apples. One of my favorite foodie things to do is try the chicken salad at every establishment that offers it. This one did not disappoint!

A sweet coffeehouse with a strong base of devoted locals; less touristy than other spots. Beautiful atmosphere with loads of indoor plants, natural light, and pleasant views. Most staff are friendly--good, picky baristas who know how to make a good latte. Higher quality wifi here, as they have a small workspace upstairs, called Jobb (members only). One patron I was interviewing for a newspaper article said Fika is the "second City Hall," referring to the many community and business meetings that take place here casually. The menu has expanded somewhat, which is nice. Scandinavian pastries now have company: quiches and other savories. Prices tend to be a bit high, but I suppose that's normal everywhere these days. Wish they had drip coffees! Otherwise it's great.

We stopped for coffee and got coffee and the Turkey sandwich with cranberry chutney and brie (Im df so no brie) and the Chicken salad with Greens. We both loved both dishes. The turkey sandwich was not just a sandwich but a carnival of flavors with the grilled caramelized onions and the cranberry chutney- I didn't even miss the cheese. I'm sure it would have been even better with the brie, but i love food that taste good without the cheese! The chicken salad was just what my husband was looking for-protein and greens with lots of flavor! This is the coffee shop the locals know about. It's maybe 1 mile out of the main part of town but so worth it!

Turn off the main street of the western downtown and you will find yourself transported to Sweden where Fika translates to "a coffee break." Nordic decor, ample seating, and excellent service. And don't forget a cup of Scanda-inspired coffee that will keep you warm all day.

Friendly staff! Lots of natural light and potted plants. Great place to hunker down on a gray day for coffee chats, working, or studying. I didn't try any of the savory foods, but the gluten free strawberry jam bar I got was delightful! They have a few other gluten free bakery items too.
