This is the best food in Sisters - I’d even put it up as the best food in Central Oregon.
The restaurant itself feels almost as if you’ve walked into someone’s dining room on a busy night, both homey and comfortable. With stellar food to boot!

Easily the most delicious food I've had in a long time. The edamame was good and my soup was good, but the sautéed beef and the momos were mindblowingly delicious. So incredibly flavorful! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.
The service set up is a little confused with counter service ordering, beepers at the table but food delivered, and bus tubs but also staff clearing tables. Lovely lovely staff though!

My family and I had a wonderful experience while driving through sisters to grab lunch. We normally don’t eat ethnic food, but my goodness we will definitely be going back! The dumplings were phenomenal, edamame was by far my favorite and my little picky eaters had options they loved!!
We will definitely be back!!!! ❤️

As a world traveler, I have been to many restaurants over the years. HC is wonderfully unique. The menu is varied, and the food is authentic and flavorful Himalayan cuisine. I had chicken curry and took about 1/2 of my portion home - both because it was generous and because I did not want to waste any of it. The menu says that spices are added to most dishes. However, the food is NOT spicy hot. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant sends a significant share of its revenue to charities in Nepal, an added dimension to the experience. The owners have tried to keep prices reasonable in the setting of on-going inflation. There is a great selection of beers and ciders, something for every taste. The Mango Lasi deserves special mention!

Really great service and the food was mostly good. Not 5 star level amazing but really good for its style and for being in such a small town.

We first visited High Camp back in 2022 when they had just opened, and that experience was fantastic. Since moving out of Oregon, we haven’t been able to make it back as often as we’d like, but I’ve never forgotten that first visit — meeting the owner, falling in love with their hot seasoning spice (which they gifted me to take home!), and becoming obsessed with the homemade chili oil.
Last night (11/20/25), we finally returned, and I’m happy to say the food is still just as wonderful. The flavors were exactly as we remembered. Our favorites this time were the Shapta and the Chau Chau — both absolutely delicious.
We ordered and shared everything family-style:
• Momos – handmade dumplings
• Shapta – beef dish
• Chau Chau – noodle dish
• Masu Bhat – chicken curry
Most dishes came with a small side salad and jasmine rice.
The ordering process is casual and easy: place your order at the counter, grab a table, and they’ll buzz you when the food is ready. The staff then brings everything right to your table.
The ambience is warm, inviting, and cozy. Even though it was 32° outside, they still had a wood fire going, which made for such a pretty and welcoming touch.
High Camp continues to be a gem in Sisters — absolutely worth the visit every time.

Tried this place because saw it featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives a couple nights before. The food was great, atmosphere was so so. Looks like it would be different a different time of year.

We tried the naan and daal, momos, and curry - 10/10 all around! The folks who work there are really friendly and interesting to chat with. Looking forward to going back sometime!

Wow! My wife did some research on places to eat in Sisters and stumbled upon High Camp Taphouse on a recent trip to Sisters, and we were absolutely blown away.
The atmosphere is cozy, relaxed, and incredibly welcoming. Now, let's talk about the food, because it is truly special. We ordered the Momos (the Himalayan dumplings) and they were perfection. Each dumpling was a delicate, handcrafted parcel bursting with savory, perfectly seasoned filling. The accompanying sauce was the ideal complement. We could have eaten three more orders!
We also shared the Chicken Curry (Masu Bhat), and it was soul-warming. The curry was incredibly fragrant and had such a rich, complex flavor without being overpowering. The chicken was tender, and you can tell it's made with love and high-quality ingredients. It’s the kind of dish that makes you want to come back again and again.
High Camp Taphouse is more than just a place with amazing food and a great tap list—it’s a gem with a heart. It's an absolute must-visit if you're in Sisters. We will be back every single time we're in the area!

Great food, the shapta beef was fantastic, and I really enjoyed sabzi baht, but the real star of the show for me was the house made chili crisp/oil! It was pretty pricey though, just under 50 dollars for lunch for two without drinks. That being said the service was great, food incredible, and the atmosphere was warm cozy and cool! Will be back when I'm feeling flush with cash

Staff were friendly but I was a little disappointed with the food. The side salad was just a premade mix and looked wilted. Dumplings were ok. They have a great list of on tap beers and cidars.
