I have been shopping here and mostly this location many years.. probably since the opened. I have always had a great experience and love the food! Recently I felt compelled to write a review because I had an amazing experience with one of the people there, named Andy I believe. I have many allergies and they were very helpful and let me know how cautious they are with allergies of food sensitivities if you mention it. This really opened up so many new menu options for me that I was scared to try before knowing that. It's always nice to fine restaurants and kitchens that are sensitive to this! Much appreciated!!

Great food and customer service. Plenty of parking and clean restaurant.
Food was very good and not a long wait time. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Will be back.
I've eaten here for several years around town. I just want to say whoever does the hiring, particularly the gateway location... They are the most lovely friendly positive service gals. And even more so in comparison to service around town, I.e other businesses.

Crystal who works the counter has the poise and grace of a fearsome cougar, and the courage of a badger. The doctor said human bites dont normally get infected so I shouldn't worry too much.

Do yourself a favor and just buy the yumm sauce to-go and make your own yumm bowl. The portions in the restaurant are terribly tiny and they charge extra for anything beyond the minimum. $1 extra to get more yumm sauce (which is already seriously minimal) to make my yumm bowl not terribly dry? That sucked.

Love being able to get a healthy lunch faster than any fast food restaurant in the area. The service is always great, and the food hits the spot every time. Appreciate the staff and their friendliness, special shoutout to Andy!

Absolutely amazing service at this location. Andy was my server and he treated me like gold. He asked me if I needed water as I was ordering because my voice didn't want to work fully. He came to my table multiple times to check on me. Thank you Andy for all you hard work! You made my experience golden! 😄

Sad state of affairs at this location. I live across the street in the gateway village apartments. Sometimes when I’m feeling lazy, I would go to cafe yum to get just a bowl of white rice to go with my chicken or steak that I cook at home. I have bought the 2.50$ bowl of rice on 4 occasions and two out of the four times I’ve bought it, it has been dry and hard. Pretty surprised they can’t cook rice correctly or that they are so cheap they have to serve rice that is clearly not fresh. I personally will never go back here again
Cafe Yumm is a has-been. $22 for a 20oz bowl of filler.
