Cafe Yumm! - On Gateway

Springfield, Oregon has no vegan or vegetarian restaurants, but if you’re in the city and need a quick, healthy vegan option, Cafe Yumm hits the spot. Most items on the menu can be made vegan and they welcome the changes. Also their Yumm Sauce (although not for everyone), can quickly become your favorite condiment. Their bowls are largely bean and brown rice bowls with assorted vegetables. Tofu can be added. I do have to agree with a couple of the other reviewers that they have mixed up a couple of my orders in the past, which is frustrating, but overall a good choice in the area.

Cafe Yumm is a family favorite. They also do terrific carry out catering platters for large groups. Definitely grab a bottle of their sauce while you are there.

I ordered two Yumm bowls for takeout. Both were missing the sour cream and had just a tiny amount of Yumm sauce, which, to me is a major ingredient. With little to no sauce the bowls were dry and unappetizing. This is the second time this has happened to me.

Disappointed that they have dropped items. It's been a month or two since I've had Yumm. We were told no more tempeh and no yogurt sub for sour cream. Food is still fine, but I might have been less disappointed just going to Jimmy Johns next door.
