Chicken Bonez is a staple of Springfield. The best chicken and the best customer service. Everything was so clean. I love it here it's a must try place!

Hot fresh and delicious! Bustling busy and well run restaurant stays efficient even during the big rush. Bone-in wings, delicious tenders, and a salad bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of good parking, and it looks like they do big business on the to-go orders. Next time you're thinking fast food think again and go see chicken bonez. The Rock!

A coworker recommended Chicken Bonz and I certainly plan to thank him. I had the chicken tenders basket with fries and spicy BBQ sauce. The tenders were both crisp and tender, the sauce was delicious with just the right heat, and I loved the shoestring fries. A sign near the pickup counter says good food isn't fast. It was the busiest time for them and although I had a bit of a wait, it was worth every second. Great job!

I've been eating here since it opened. The portions are a good size, and the food is always hot / fresh. I'm a big fan of Canes, being from the south originally but I would rather chicken bonz. You get what you paid for here........ the sweet tea is 👍

Went to get dinner last night and when we got home to eat our dinner, our chicken wasn't warm nor hot and the fries were stale tasting.
My dish in particular was not great, my chicken was cold to the touch, wasn't even warm, it was like my food was thrown into the microwave and nuked. Definitely ruined it for us, probably never going to come back.
The employees were not very helpful and didn't really seem like they wanted our business either.
Definitely not coming back.

I went here on 6/29/2025 This place was gross, every table was dirty with crumbs and stickyness. The chicken was tough and flavorless. I would not recommend eating here.

Still one of my favorites. Prices have gone up quite a bit but they have everywhere.

This used to be my favorite wing place in town and I looked forward to spending every special occasion there whether it was birthdays or celebrating graduation, but the prices have increasingly gone up and the chicken bones have shrunk. The last few times I went there and got 12 bones they were all little tiny shrunken flats and not a single drum I’m not sure if it’s the chicken they’re getting in is that small but highly disappointed that I’m paying more for less.

When I first came in I noticed how incredibly dirty the games were. From there I was honestly in shock and dissatisfied that the kids meal was 1 single chicken wing and fries. How is my kid suppose to feel full? When my family sat down, our chairs had so my grim it felt unsanitary and the photo frame hanging above us looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. When our food got to us, all are chicken was dry and cold, our fries were cold and honestly wasn’t worth what we paid for. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend coming here. It was my first and last time coming to Chicken Bonz.

Long long time customer here and sadly the fries have changed. The shoe string fries have always been my family's favourite part of any order here. Today we ordered and while the fries were still thin they were definitely not the ones we are accustomed to. Very disappointing. I'm honestly hoping they are having an order issue or these were last minute replacements or something and the regular fries will be back.

I'm aware of the price increase on almost everything and it's understandable the prices would rise, but the staff mostly makes minimum wage so I feel the cost is a bit outlandish based on that. As per usual the service and servers were wonderful. The chicken was it's usual decent self cooked well, loved the sauces, but those fries :(

Very disappointing experience.

I had heard quite a few people talk pretty highly of this place. But I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the 6 wings with the Hot D🔥mn sauce. The flavor of the sauce was good...but the wings were tiny and luke warm at best. Not impressed at all with them being cool to the touch, they definitely were NOT fresh from the fryer. And at $2/wing (6 wings $12), I guess I expected the bigger wings, not the tiny ones.

The burger was also not hot. I like that it was served on toast (definitely prefer toast over burger buns any day)....but it was also luke warm at best, with the quick-serve microwavable paper thin bacon.

The fries and okra were the best things about the meal, which is a let down (frozen, breaded).

The cashier was very sweet albeit extremely distracted, she stepped away mid-order which was a little odd.

Recieved the recommendation from the Eugene Foodies FB group after experiencing a SERIOUS 3-4 day quality chicken strip craving. I'm talking fresh chicken, juicy, pull apart strips that aren't tiny or only bread like some places. I'm weird as well, dry chicken always gives me hiccups.

I ordered the 5 piece chicken strip, small fry, and mac n cheese for pickup.

Chicken strips - wonderful, they came in their own container and were juicy and perfect. The online order menu didn't have Ketchup that I could see and I normally have either ketchup or ranch, so I got ranch and Buffalo lime sauce and then got a side of ketchup while at the restaurant. The Buffalo lime was good but my favorites were winners.

Mac N Cheese - it was good, came out hot, I'm a bit of a mac n cheese snob and like mine to have a little sharper of cheese with some pepper in it, or taste like outback steakhouses, but it was very good mac n cheese.

Fries - my only complaint about the meal, and this is likely my fault, is the quantity of fries. The fries themselves were great, not crispy but far from soggy. It's probably because I ordered a small side of fries and didn't order a combo (I wasn't paying attention and only saw the combo after I'd ordered) but I recieved a HUGE container of fries. It's wonderful but I will not be able to finish more than a 1/4 of them along with the other food I ordered and thus they're going to waste. I will order differently in the future and may change my review unless someone can clarify that the combos come with less fries.

All in all, THANK YOU, excellent chicken, great tasting fries and great mac n cheese!
