Elmer's Restaurant (Springfield, OR)

The prices are a bit higher than some ,but the quality and quantity of the food makes it well worth it. Also, our wait person ( I think her name is Patty??) Was phenomenal!!! All of the staff were nice and very accommodating, but her patience, disposition and efficiency are bar none!!! I had the Reuben. I have to say it was likely the best I've ever had. My friends had the strawberry crepes and the German pancakes. I did try each and they were equally as delicious as my Reuben. The meat on my sandwich must have been at least 1 1/2 inches thick!!! I actually had to save half for dinner. Very much worth the couple bucks more than Denny's or Shari's.

Ordered some delicious brunch from this spot ! I highly recommend :-)

Customer service was really good the food was great I did not have any problems with my service dog being there and they were very helpful with my child the only problem I have was that our first waiter didn't bring us the kids menu but then our actual waiter brought his kids menu when she came over anyways my family's German and we make German pancakes from home recipe that goes back years and years and years and I was really surprised when they're German pancake was pretty close to our recipe all together great experience

We waited 20 minutes to be seated and no one greeted us, 15 minutes for a server to ask us for drinks and take our order then when we got our food it was cold, none of the cooks were wearing their masks properly they were pulled below their chins, just overall not good waitressing. There were people who were eating before us who arrived 30 minutes after us. This was not the best experience I have had at this location… super disappointing i usually love coming here for breakfast but will not recommend and will not be returning!!

I like consistency and Elmer's has it. Staff was great, food was great. What more can you ask for?

Classic American fare with some specialties. I got the skillet, and my partner got the omelet. Food was good, service was good. And the restaurant is easy to access from the I5 and easy to get back onto the highway. We will be back again.

We love their potato pancakes. Our server was excellent.

Sat for 20min before we ever saw a server. Finally a server from another section came over and took our drink order. The entire experience entailed long waits with poor service. I understand lots of places are having issues hiring staff, but we sat there while a manager and hostess discussed their next 2 week schedule for 30min while waited to order.

Have to say it was first time eating at an Elmer's this one was located in Eugene, Oregon, plain and simple the service was great and my breakfast was delicious. I tried the potato pancakes on a recommendation and glad I did. Good portion and my coffee cup never got cold because it kept getting refilled. I'll be back when my wife and I are up that way.

Excellent service, we were seated right away . We had left IHOP because of the long wait and decided to try this place. My kids were very happy with the kids menu options and they were very well priced. Restaurant was very clean, had a normal breakfast place vibe and the staff was on it for service. We will probably be switching to this Restaurant for our breakfast go to place!

No outside warning the restaurant was not open for dinner. The bar was open, bartender provided different, close establishments to try for dinner.

Awful service . 30 minutes before I was offered coffee? Plates were overpriced for proportion I was displeased entirely

Just terrible. Food, skillet , was cold and greasy. Restrooms were horrific. Service was just ok. Outside was run down and dirty. Find another place for breakfast

I was very weary about this place having good food or service. But to my amazement this place happened to be amazing! Not only was there enough tables for a lot of customers to have their meal at, but the service was top notch!The place was clean and also the food was fantastic! I totally had to show my appreciation by leaving this review, because I'm sure if anyone else visits this place with low expectations, then just you wait for it. I bet you'll leave much happier than when you first walked into their doors!I'm totally visiting again!
