My husband and I find George & Violets to be our favorite place to dine in Springfield. The beautiful atmosphere, the delicious food and having Conner as your waiter makes G&V a MUST go to! Love, Love, LOVE ❤️
This has got to be one of my top favorite places in the area for high end, delicious food. Every bite was sensational! We started with the Salmon Crudo, I could honestly eat 5 plates of this and have been dreaming about it since. Next we had beef and rice balls which were perfectly crispy on the outside and flavor was off the charts. My husband had the dungeoness crab pasta and I had the duck - both were incredible. Cocktails were great too, and the service was fantastic. 10/10
We never heard back when we tried to make a reservation a week in advance. The meal was disappointing, as their potato sides now include generic french fries that looked like something you’d get at a Red Robin. At the end of the meal, they charged us for the $60 steaks when ours were $28 each. For our anniversary dinner, this was a disappointment. We will not be returning.

House-made Parker rolls are highly recommended. The service is friendly and helpful, making this a top choice for delicious food in a cozy setting.
