I've eaten here before, but have not in a while because I live in Eugene. Today I went for the lunch special there. Service was excellent, and the food was amazing! I don't normally clean my plate anywhere, but it really was that good. And very affordable! The pick-2 entire was varied in what you could get, and was 11. Along with my horchata, it was less than 15 bucks (before tip) I mean its always been great, but I felt it was really excellent today!

Absolutely fantastic! Here on a work trip, and decided on this little joint. The hostess/server were very friendly. We ordered and were served within about 10 mins. Food was fresh, and absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend! (Quesabirria was phenomenal)

Amazing atmosphere and food quantity is beyond filling! The cheese dip is quite delicious! The staff was super kind and helpful. Would definitely come again but maybe next time we will share a single burrito between two people since it was HUGE!

We dine out alot, and this is easily one of the best places especially for delicious Mexican food. The only negative is that the tortillas are not fresh made, they're out of a package. Everything else is top notch, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it !

Lots of options for food on Gate St. But since I'm from out of town and my hotel is just across the street Mexican food sounded good.
Easy to walk to, got there and was greeted at the door by 2 employees.
Asked to sit at the bar and place an order to go, but unfortunately, the bar was closed. Which I found a little funny.
But anyway, was seated, ordered a drink, and placed my order.
Had a very good margarita and waited for my pollo a la crema.
Let me tell you, this is one of my favorite dishes and they nailed it. Remind you, this was to go.
For $17+ the portions were there and still warm when I got it to the room.
If I'm ever back in the area I'll go back.

Update !
I usually like this place but my last visit completely changed my view. I ordered the Fajita Burrito. Which I have ordered many times before but this time the Burrito was a joke. ( Wish I had taken a picture this time ) Lacking all the veggies I used to get. The little amount of veggies I did get were over cooked. The Burrito filling had maybe 4 pieces of Steak and was stuffed with over cooked mushy rice. It used to be good but now just horrific. I don't think I will be coming back here again. $18.99 for pretty much a over cooked rice Burrito is outrageous. This place has definitely lost the love and joy in making their food. Sad, because I really used to like this place.

Ground beef was wet, just a wet glob of meat with no taste. It was inedible.
