Best pi,zza in town. We live in AZ part of the year, and many times during our time away my husband will say he can't wait to get back to OR for Joey's great pizza. We almost always make it within the first week or two.
Pretty good Pizza. Could use some interior updates. I liked the arcade games and pinball.
The best parlor pizza and much cheaper than most other places.
Still the G.O.A.T.
Classic cheese pulls as close as you're gonna get to GoofyMovie levels (iykyk).
Love that I can bring my kid in for this ol'school atmosphere and for pizza and games I know he'll love. 😊
Ordered in the restaurant, food took forever, the place was empty. I didn’t understand 🤷🏻♂️ pizza was okay but not the best 🤷🏻♂️ looked like it could of been a good place under different circumstances
Hasn't changed since the 1970s. Excellent old-school pizza - lite sauce, extra cheese, crispy crust
The atmosphere is an old style pizza parlor. The pizza is awesome. The service was exceptional.
After living in this area for over 5 decades, I'd never heard of Joey's Pizza. I only ran across it recently while surfing the web for something else. A picture of their Pepperoni Pizza caught my eye so I investigated further. It had the same look of my favorite pepperoni pizza from back in the day when Shakey's was alive. I loved thier pizza! So I had to check this out...
Okay, so the place might be a little outdated, but if you were as old as Joey's is, you'd be a little outdated as well. It's run down, and has that dark noir atmosphere, with leaking roof and dirty dishes piled high on the counter. Old pinball and vidio machines add to the classic feeling. It was raining the day I stopped in and they were only serving take out because of the water hazards. No problem, I was ordering take out anyway.
So, I got a giant half pepperoni half pepperoni & pineapple (this is the only place where I've seen the Pepperoni & Pineapple option actually on the menu). It was done in short order and the counter person brought it out to me, hot and juicy. I had to have a piece right out of the oven to see if it tasted as good as it looked. Oh yes, it was hot and cheesy, wih the melty cheese stringing down; you know, the kind you have to grab and wrap around the pizza before you eat it? Yah, like that. The crust was perfect; thin and crispy on the bottom and soft and chewy on the top. The little pepperonies were cupped up with a small well of grease in thier bottoms. And Yes, it did remind me of Shakey's pizza from years gone by.
I recomend the pizza. Dine in if you like, but I'll take mine to go, especially next month when my 1/2 price number comes up. That's something you'll have to checkout on your own. Bon Appit.
Food and employees are great, the building is looking pretty rough but it's old
The Best pepperoni pizza around. The guy that has worked there for 11 years really does a great job! I hope he buys the place someday!

Just a little hole in the wall pizza joint perfectly cooked pizza, great service. Dude at the counter was like, for your first time, do the simplest pizza because if we can't do that right, then nothing else will matter. They did a peperoni pizza very well, very tasty with cornmeal on the bottom. Great pizza and good atmosphere!
The pizza is probably the best in town, the service however leaves a lot to be desired, the people behind the counter are indifferent and generally unfriendedly, I thought it was one employee but it has happened consistently over 4 visits.
As much as I like the product I won't be going back.
My family's first choice for pizza. There are many choices of pizza in between Springfield and Eugene, but always come here. There is something about the pizza that hooks you.
I hate to say this because we used to love coming to Joey's. Went there this week and they were out of peparoni, Canadian bacon etc. we decided to get Taco Pizza. I could only eat one piece. No flavor, and I kept almost choking on the cheese when trying to swallow. It had a rubber consistency. Gave the rest of my pizza to my cousin. That's just not me.
why dont they have their own website, all i get is facebook stuff. I want to order pizza but not thru facebook
