Absolutely delicious food, you can tell it's authentic and smoked low and slow over real charcoal, no liquid smoke here. Delicious AND affordable, for $10 you can get 2 meats, and 2 sides which is more food than I can eat at once, so it usually ends up as lunch the next day too. I lived in Hawaii for 10 years and ever since coming back to the states I have been searching for authentic, home cooked food and I finally found the perfect spot!

So good! Awesome and friendly staff!
The food is really delicious and when I got a large plate I was not disappointed! Service was nice. The guy at the cash register let me know about the prices because I was a little confused by the menu. The guy who brought me my food was nice as well! Atmosphere was excellent. I really liked their decorations and it looks clean. The price was more than fair for this experience. Thank you 🙏

This place is my go-to for Hawaiian in Springfield, OR. Can't go wrong with the Kalua Pork, pineapple fried rice, and potato mac salad! :)

Large servings of the main dish, sides could be a little bigger. Great flavor, quick friendly service, and reasonable prices.

We really were excited for this place and we had really high hopes for it. We got a big kahuna platter with all the sides, and I got a teriyaki chicken with pineapple rice. Unfortunately, like other reviews, majority of the meat tasted dry. We did really enjoy our mixed greens salad, slice of pineapple, and the mac, along with the pulled pork. The chicken and the ribs were too dry for us. The sauce was good. The lo mein was pretty good, and not overwhelming regarding flavor, unlike the rice. The rice was too salty. The staff was kind though!

Kona is my favorite Hawaiian food place! I've been coming here for like 20 years.
I love teriyaki chicken and this is the best. It's the truth. Best Teriyaki ever!
The other food is good too and all come with side and a pineapple slice.
If you love authentic Hawaiian food, run don't walk to Kona. (And be sure to leave enough for me!)

I moved back from the East Coast to Oregon and I had sure missed Hawaiian BBQ. I've been here several times and the food is consistently great! I have tried all the meat and side options. My favorites are the volcano chicken and the ribs. The Mac salad and the noodles are always a hit too.
