If you're tired of Mexican, Thai, Chinese, etc., then you will be pleasantly surprised at all the options you've probably never heard of before at Maynilla. My fiance lived in a part of Washington with a large Philipino community around her, so without her previous knowledge of how tasty this style of cooking is, I probably never would have stopped here. If you're in the same boat that I was in that regard, I encourage you to try something you haven't thought of before, it might just open your culinary library to another book of flavors. Now we need our 'nilla fix at least once a month. Large portions with inoffensive pricing coupled with the fact everything we've bought there is damn tasty, glad we found this place!

Maynila is always a treat in our house! The food is always great and tastes authentic for a fair price. However, hours online are not accurate whatsoever and they are more often than not closed during the listed open hours.

Very cute, homey, family owned and ran restaurant. The food is killer. I had the Pork Menudo and my girlfriend had the Pork Adobo. Both were really great, seasoned well, and felt like a homemade meal. We also ordered a Halo-Halo for dessert which was also delicious. Definitely stop by and give this place a try.

Great food! it is better than the usual Filipino food, the flavors are balanced and the foods that are usually oily, aren't.

I really like the vibes of the owner, they make it feel like home.

For sure, no matter where you've come from, you will find a dish that you would enjoy in this restaurant.

I have only tried one dish. I intend to go back and explore the menue.
Good things: Very clean. Service is also quick. Staff is very friendly. Definitely a family vibe.
I had pork menudo(not at all like the familiar Mexican). It was rich and deep in comfort food land. The pork was like butter. It came with a generous portion of rice. $9
The not so good: Cheap(like REALLY cheap) plastic fork and knife in a plastic sleeve with a tiny napkin. I was served in a divided covered "to-go" plastic tray. About 5x8in.
I hope they start serving on plates and in bowls. It would help the experience.
Lastly, there was a lot of oil floating on the really delicious gravy/sauce.
I think it is worth a try. It is all scratch made. Lumpia is spot on. They have good flan to finish with too!
And it is bargain. I'm 220lbs. I couldn't finish my $9 meal.

Super authentic filipino food. I miss our food in the Philippines and my husband drove me here after Sunday church. We love everything we ordered. Bicol express, sisig, pancit bihon and lumpia. We also had halo-halo, i love it but it could have asked for additional sugar. I will try their dinuguan and turon next time. ? i forgot to take a picture of their menu and prices but we spent like $68 for all of these foods.
