This place is special for me. I lived here when I was a child and it has always been a place I call home. I loved going back and visiting and seeing all the changes and all the feelings I get from this place. Great food and great service but I have to admit I want my home back ?

A handful of miles east of Springfield on Hwy 126 in Cedar Flatts is a pleasant restaurant where the owner herself is serving delicious meals. Maybe I like McKenzie Stage Stop so much because I grew up in a tiny village more than 60 years ago. Or maybe I just like everything about this place.

I love this place! Our waitress was friendly, the atmosphere was comfy and the food was great! I got the broccoli cheddar soup with garlic toast as well as carrot cake and a cinnamon roll. Everything was great, even the coffee’

Vegetarian options: The waitress was very helpful answering my questions about whether there were meat products in their food.

The locals who visited this spot gave me high hopes for good food but I see that familiarity can be the ONLY thing that keeps people coming back. I had the biscuits and gravy with homemade fries and two eggs over medium. The eggs were cooked well not gonna lie a great egg and the potatoes weren't half bad BUT that monstrosity of biscuits and gravy that they attempted to pass off as homemade is the SAME THING YOU GET AT DARI MART. so basically I would have gotten the same level of food from dari mart and paid half as much. The service is meh and I was charged 2.50 more than my check had originally stated I'm guessing I was charged for the to go boxes which I only needed one for the pancakes I left the biscuits and gravy there hopefully as a statement to how awful it was and honestly I had higher hopes as I love to support local businesses. Hopefully this is seen and fixed. I understand food costs but come on this was atrocious.

Don't support restaurants that violate ADA law. If you have service animals (excluding ESA's) you will be discrimated against and not allowed entry for your service animal despite it being federally protected.

Terrible service. Didn't allow my friends service animal and forced to eat outside. Was told "I don't care about the law" and sent outside. Absolutely broke Oregon law.

Classic rural mom & pop restaurant where the locals conversing is heart warming & entertaining. You may have to wait for your meal because it's a small family staff with a small kitchen but the wait is worth it.

You're better off eating an energy bar than going to this place.They've given up. The food won't kill you. That's the nicest thing I can say about theplace. A true bore hole...flavorless.If they don't care......I don't care...

Delicious breakfasts here. Numerous times. My last meal was a chili burger, the burger was really tough. Fries and chili were good though.

Parking: Lots of spots in front and both sides.
