Original Roadhouse Grill

Server was okay but drinks and food were not great. Everything was lukewarm and the best thing on the plate was the fries which isn’t great 😭

It's not Texas Roadhouse it's totally different and not nearly has good and there are peanuts are all over the ground

Went to have a date night with the hubby. We both like to watch our sports. Asked to sit at the bar. We was told due to the bartender not being able to handle the patrons they already had, that they did not want anyone else sitting in the bar. There was three people in the bar. The rest of the place was almost empty as well. Bad service. Usually it is pretty good, but tonight it was evident that they did not WANT anymore customers. At least we did find somewhere else that has a very pleasant staff.

The service was good, but the food tasted so so. The rolls tasted funny and the salad was okay. The barbecue pork tasted good, but needed to be cut up better.

Our waitress was very polite and attentive. The environment was ok. But the food looked amazing and smelled fantastic. But I couldn’t stomach a second bite of my burger. When you bite into something and your mouth says we shouldn’t swallow this. Tasted super off and was raw and greasy. Daughters Mac and cheese looked like it was made the day before and she couldn’t eat it. Wife’s grilled chicken and mashed potatoes tasted like they were murdered with liquid smoke and the chicken was cooked directly in the charcoal from last week for an extra half hour. Son had the wings and said they were alright but hard to mess up wings. Mentioned the issue with my burger to the waitress and they did comp that part of the meal. But manager never came out to see what was wrong or anything. Has fallen a long ways since our last time here. Wouldn’t go here if I could eat for free if this is how it is regularly. And prices were very high given how our food came out.

Food portions, quality, cleanliness, atmosphere of restaurant not impressive. Had eaten at Salem Original Roadhouse before and all the above exceeded expectations.

Didn’t not meet our expectations. Food seemed like microwaved on the ready meals, super bland. The place was dead, but it was 3 in the afternoon on a weekday, so it’s hard to tell if it was just timing. Would not recommend or go back. If you want BBQ, unfortunately this isn’t it.

This place has a nice ambiance and vibe. The waitress was super nice and welcoming. We got the baby back ribs with the side of fries and Mac and cheese.
My favorite part was the fries with ranch. The ribs were a bit boney with not as much meat as I was anticipating.

It was outstanding. We stopped on our way to vacation and that was a very good plan. Food was tasty, lots of it and the service was top flight.

It was 5:30 on a beautiful Saturday night and not even half full. We realized why when we saw the menu! The prices are very high, especially compared to other options in the area. Our server was excellent and answered my questions honestly about which sides she recommended. One she did NOT recommend were the baked beans, which are not eaten by the customers. I asked why they keep them on the menu and it’s because they come from corporate, frozen, along with the mac and cheese, also not very good. We enjoyed what we got, though the salad greens were limp and old tasting. The garlic green beans were amazing!

Don't come here if you are a delivery driver. I've been here 5 times and waited a min of 15 to 45 mins. Servers always cold and seem miserable.

Came in after being ignored at another restaurant. So happy that happened. We sat at the Bar top. Our service was exceptional. The server was super busy but didn't miss a beat. We never went without anything. She truly has great skills. Really turned our dinner experience around. Thanks guys!!
