Original Roadhouse Grill

This place is the quintessential American Roadhouse. Food is pretty good, people are decently friendly, its a decent place to have a conversation during the day. In a lot of ways this place represents America. Its not all that clean, its not pretty or perfect, but its real. The menu's have crayon markings on them from kids who had memories made, the menu's dont fully make sense. But in its essence its a restaurant that has the increasingly unique ability to be called someone's favorite restaurant from their hometown.

I hadn't been to the Roadhouse for a while. I will say I was very disappointed. The waitress was good at her job. The salad dressing tasted like it'd been watered down. The steak was not bad. But it definitely was not worth the $30 almost that I paid for lunch

Me and my wife ordered a couple burgers and fries. She ordered hers medium rare and when it came out it was very, very rare. I ordered mine medium because I don’t have faith in these chains on their ability to actually cook mid rare. I don’t know how they did it. But part of the burger was mid, part was mid rare, and part was practically raw. Neither one of us finished the burgers or fries. Both orders of fries were like they were cooked. And allowed to completely cool, reheated and then sat around. Luke warm, rubbery and bland. The ice water tasted absolutely horrible. I don’t understand why the restaurants don’t filter their drinking water. City tap water with an extra dash of rust and chemical taste. There was an old couple sitting a couple tables down and the old man kept pawing at the peanut barrel with his bare hands after wiping his nose. I told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. I also had to ask her 3 times to bring us peanuts that weren’t groped by the old sickie. The only saving grace was the oversized cocktail that had plenty of alcohol to numb the whole experience.

It was very empty when we went there. Food was good, service was decent. It was enjoyable. Always fun with kids and them being able to throw peanut shells on the floor. Lol

The food was good. The drinks were good. Unfortunately, I left my sunglasses on the table. They were a pair of black Oakley sunglasses my son bought me for Christmas. While it is not the fault of the restaurant, it is sad that the character of the brunette waitress who was working on the evening of Friday January 16, 2026 is not better. The restaurant was not busy at all and she seemed to be the only one working out on the floor. There were only a few people on the other side of the restaurant in the bar. I can't imagine anyone else would have cleaned the table. I called the restaurant the very next day and they said they would check and call me back. I emailed the manager and customer service email provided on the website and have not received any response.

Due to the dishonesty and careless attitudes of the staff at this restaurant, my family and I will no longer be eating at this restaurant. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know that they should find a different restaurant as the staff here are not trustworthy.

Trish was our server and she was attentive and friendly. The food was truly remarkable from the appetizers to the main course. Unfortunately, the size of the slice of carrot cake was disappointing for the price of $9.99 but it was tasty. Overall, I'd definitely go back when I decide to eat out again.

Went on Monday the restaurant was empty the staff was extremely unprofessional and rude they forgot to bring me my appetizer and when my food came is was not cooked right and very a small portion compared to the price I paid. Use to enjoy coming here but will not be returning after the awful experience I wound give them neg 5 stars

Amazing Bar-Be Qued Ribs, Medium Rare Sirloin Steak, with Mushrooms & Grilled Onions, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli with all you can eat Incredible Rolls with Maple Butter. We didn't know where Original Roadhouse Grill was located so we followed our oldest son and daughter there.

Server not attentive & would bring one thing at a time. Food was not as good as in the past or not as good as food in Salem location. Chicken on salad was overcooked and sooo dry. Tri-tip was well done, not medium. Good flavor though. BBQ Half Chicken Dinner- chicken was cold, barely warm with little sauce brushed on, and Mac & cheese was just average ok. Sweet Potatoes used to be huge but two of us got it & both were small ones. Disappointed & embarrassed for the guests we brought there.
