Outback Steakhouse Reviews
Tonight 3/2/24 we watched a server place dirty dishes on the bar counter, turn and enter an order on the touch screen tablet that EVERYONE uses then reach into the bars garnish container and grab a handful of olives and skewer them and plunk them into a drink and walk away to serve it to someone all without ever washing her hands 😩
We usually have good luck at the Springfield, Oregon location but tonight’s experience was awful. The wait staff was just fine but the food was terrible. My sirloin was tough and bland; I barely ate any. In fact, I spit out most of what I tried to eat. My husband’s steak was basically raw in the middle. He ordered it medium/well. My son’s burger was charred to a crisp on the outside and they left on all the toppings he asked them to take off and left off the ones he...read full review
We did take out last week because it is close to hotel and were pleased with food.
Wife took me here last night for Father’s Day! We put our name in with an hour wait so relaxed at hotel for a bit. Got there before our hour was up and we were seated at time given. They were slammed but I have never seen the host(es) desk handled more efficiently. Good start. I never get to say this but nearly everything was perfect! Wife’s premium pecan salad was not though. 🥲

Outback Steakhouse offers a good menu and a great atmosphere, with plenty of on-site parking and wheelchair accessibility. The staff is friendly, with servers like Hayley providing attentive and genuine service, making the experience memorable. The bartender is also praised for their excellent service. While some diners have had issues with their meals, such as overcooked steak and tasteless onion soup, the restaurant remains generally kid-friendly and a convenient choice for families. However, there have been complaints about misleading advertising, with some guests expecting $14.99 meals that are actually $18.99, and dissatisfaction with cold food. Overall, it is a dependable place for an average meal, close to local accommodations but not within walking distance to many attractions.
