The baker/owner has several decades of baking experience and it shows in his bread. Exceptional baguettes, larger French loaf, croissants and pain de chocolat. He sells most of his products commercially but is open to the public - thank goodness! I visit Springfield several times a year and I would be thrilled to get bread this good in my hometown.
Omigod, this is the best bread I've had since moving from New Jersey!! Super tasty, perfect crust, fair price, and love the sweet little spot. Hands down the best bread in Eugene/Springfield area.

Very good french bakery with focused selection. Rye bread was wonderful as were the croissants and pan au Chocolat. Baguettes we're crusty. Definitely a find of you are on Springfield. There is usually a line waiting at opening which tells you something.

The chocolate scone is the best pastry I've ever had in my entire life. It's only open to the public one day a week, so you can count on me lining up outside the door every Saturday like it's a Best Buy on Black Friday.
