I am extremely disappointed by the service and professionalism of this company, and would urge people to steer clear.We hired them to do bartending for us on our wedding night, and they hired first time bartenders and did not batch make cocktails as we had planned. As a result, the lines were incredibly long (our friends weren’t on the dance floor because they were in line), and the cocktails did not taste at all like they did during our tasting.We brought this up after the wedding and they agreed to give us a partial refund. This was over 9 months ago and they haven’t returned any of our calls or emails since then. They are clearly still operating but just avoiding us…It’s very unprofessional to provide a significantly subpar service and then not deliver on a promised refund (that was in writing).I really hate writing bad reviews for small businesses but given this is a customer service driven industry, this is just unacceptable behavior and I want others to know before deciding to continue with Sheild.

Dan, Will, and the whole team did an excellent job with my baby girl's first birthday party! We don't live in Eugene and we were hosting the party at a family member's house, so I didn't have any way to prepare anything myself. Shield Catering stepped in and it was all perfect.

Dan was a fantastic guide for the do's and don'ts of wedding catering and what it takes to make sure the food was beautifully set up AND COMPLETELY GLUTEN FREE! That was fantastic to be able to not have to worry about my wife and what she's eating on our wedding day when so much is going on. Our experience with the staff and crew and food was all fantastic! We would highly recommend them for any big event you might have.The food was fantastic and all our guests were raving about how delicious it was, definitely a huge hit. We have been delighted by their level of expertise with menus that meet the needs of a large group with dietary restrictions and stay within our budget. All the dishes have been delicious! They deliver to our remote location (rather hard to find) and set up everything quickly. They are very patient while we casually dine. We never felt rushed through our meal to meet a time frame for their service. They were ready to answer questions about ingredients to help us avoid allergies with confidence. On top of all this, they supply lots of take home containers to split the leftovers easily among the group. I highly recommend Sheild Catering for your next event.

We had a last-minute guest inquiry regarding food allergies and Dan and his team were quick to make a special meal to cater to our guest’s needs. On the day of, our food was amazing and everything we asked for! Our guests were raving about how great the food was, and we could not agree more. The crew assigned to our wedding was great, they were very helpful and the service during our cocktail hour and buffet dinner was outstanding! The only issue we ran into was the handling of leftovers and saving food at the end of the night. We reached out to Dan separately to discuss this, and he was very responsive and answered our questions. Overall, Sheild and Dan were a pleasure to work with and were a very special part of our big day!
