I had the catfish and the red beans & rice. Both were excellent! I enjoyed sitting down and trying the different hot sauces with my bites too. 😁 I haven't tried any of the specials yet, if I do I'll try and be sure to call in advance because they are definitely in high demand frequently. ☺️
UPDATE NOVEMBER 2025- Now that we tried more of their menu, I had to come back and update my review. STILL off the chain!! We love every single thing we have had!! Word has clearly gotten around- so sometimes when we go they are slammed, especially with some of their more popular specials and on weekends. They are so good at warning you when you order, in case you aren't able to wait a little bit. And sometimes they have sold out and/or closed early, but we always see this...
Four of us showed up last night to eat inside to find that the end of the day was weighing on the owner and he wanted to close early and asked us to do take out. As two of us were heading 20 mins east and two heading 20 minutes west after dinner we thought we’d just eat inside the car.
